Fun Times Father/Son Duos in ARAM and Suggestion to consider

Hi Everyone. I was wondering if it was even possible to have a 5 man team of all of the same Heroes? Has this every happened to anyone? I can not imagine 5 deckards or 5 Dragons, or 5 Beast masters with the Bear. What is the wildest team you have had or played against?

My son and I play alot of the ARAM mode, we probably play a little too much, its very fun. I was wondering if you guys might consider 2 more choice on the wheel on one of the maps. I know it's asking alot, but you see we have the most fun when we get those get those rare occasions where our team or the enemy team gets two or more of the same heroes. It makes it so much more interesting and unpredictable.

Anyhow just wanted to post a note to see if it’s something you might consider talking about it as a future update. Maybe it’s a bad idea but I figured there was no harm in posting it for a discussion at least.

Have a good Friday everyone, see you in there.

It was possible in the past (somewhere along a 2% chance) to roll 10 same heroes in an Aram (then called Brawl) but unfortunately they deleted that feature.

As for your suggestion, I’d pick Cho’gall. That’s probably one of the most fun duos to keep playing with someone you know.

I remember a double Zeratul on our team, it was super fun.

5 Maievs vs 5 Maievs…43 deaths and 52 kills…in 7 minutes…that was madness.

I do wish they would bring it back, although some heroes are better suited for it than others. All Ana would be hysterical, but probably take several hours to resolve.

I did participate in an all-Illidan ARAM once. We were not prepared.

I still have fun memories of the Temple Brawl map (the Brawls where you start at, and is stuck at, level 10) with 5v5 Kerrigan.

The enemy side ALL went Maelstrom and our side ALL went Ultralisk.

First battle and off goes the ultralisks to chomp them up. THey stood no chance against those big crittters chomping them up.

Two Leo three Nova was a game topped only by a two Garrosh game.

Watching people die inside starts with double flipping them from their gate to yours, and then watching their team do the Unsure Undulate: “Do we go in to save him? No, we can’t, everyone pull back. But he’s one of ours, so we… no, surely not, just retreat. Unless, oh! He might live! But even if he did he’d just get caught, let’s retreat…”

I see your double Garrosh and raise you one double Judgment Tyrael.

I’d be fine if they brought it back as long as they reduced the frequency of it occuring.

Back then when I was playing ARAM back to back non-stop it happened a bit too often for my tastes. I’m good with once in a while but that was kind of annoying.

Imagine 10 ktz’s.

That would be crazy.

Imagine?

Hahahaha. Don’t need to. I’ve actually done it.

It was a slaughterfest because nobody else knew how to work KTZ effectively except me.

Wow.

Imagine 10 dw’s or 10 butchers.

it also would need some rules.

I imagine:
no healers, and might be a few other heroes that would make it problematic (given a lack of Hearth, unsure if tanks would take to long or be fine. I really dunno).

Those rules were already in place.

You weren’t able to get all healers, or certain other low-damage heroes.

i’ve played over 5,600 arams now, and its quite rare to see 3 of the same
(i might see it once every few weeks)
but i’ve never seen more than 3 of the same.

in the last 39 days? 0.0 :stuck_out_tongue:

(I think everyone knows what you mean)

And yeah, I don’t recall ever seeing over 3x a hero since all same hero got taken out.
