Yeah, you’re right. They still haven’t updated it and also no news about why.
Does it matter? I have not used rotation heroes for 2 years since I unlocked all heroes with gold and started sitting on over 100k gold…
Even since alpha the rotation hero change over time has varied by +/- 1 day. I suggest waiting until it is nearly a week late and complaining.

It is extremely important for new players, casual players, players who want to test some heroes but don’t want to spend all their gold on them.
I just got level 1000 and just bought the last hero needed. I’ve been playing for 2 years and 6 months now, playing basically everyday, lots of matches.
It definitely takes a lot of effort to get everything.

Yes but it will change soon. Like I said it is within +/- 1 day. Has always been. Sometimes it changed early to my surprise, other times I got an extra night of play with the heroes back when I needed them. It usually ties with server maintenance or some sort of day roll over.
If in 3 days they still have not changed then there is likely a problem.

It matters for the new players specifically, aside of the smurfs around here, yes it does more than you think it is for you, or me after unlocking 95% of my rooster.
I think he’s probably just meaning he’s extremely confident it’s going to change soon, not that the weekly rotation does not matter lol
well I guess I might be able to get Chen and Genji to level 5 then 
imagine fast-forwarding in time, and actually the game is getting turned off for good in 3 months, and this late rotation reset was the first omen. The last thing I would have said before the official closure announcement was “well I guess I might be able to get Chen and Genji to level 5 then :)”

They get extra time with the current rotation. They can play a few more matches with some heroes for a few more levels before they rotate out. I remember many times I wished I could play a hero a little longer to get them to level 5 (old level 5, not 2.0) for that gold but they rotated out already. I had to wait many months before they rotated back or I brought them.

Ah was not aware of that.
If you are relying on rotation still then I suggest levelling more of the heroes to 5, 10 or 15, e.t.c. for now. Past level 10 the exp per level remains constant so EXP is effectively converted into gold at a constant rate.
