It is very easy to reproduce and is definitely game breaking since you just need to achiev level 10 and isntant delete bosses or even players. I saw it on reddit but I’m posting it here as well so Blizzard fix this asap or at least make us not be able to play Imperius until a fix happens.
To reproduce this bug you just need to press R, wait for the swords to appear, then just queue move and R with shift.
So, you would do something like this:
Press R > wait for swords > shift move > shift R > shift move > shift R > shift move > shift R and keep doing that. You can just hold shift, don’t need to press it again every time. It works best if you do it in a line.
Oh, and even if you queue a movement command really far away from where you are, you will still fire the swords even if they disappeared from your hero.
Blizzard a fix asap!

Wow. Even Genji fast cd deflect trick (though not a bug) on Braxxis has nothing on that capture speed.
Hope that’s patched up or people will start abusing it.
(Though it sure makes Imperius look like he is finally at lore strength as head angel…)

Not even bosses, you can abuse that in teamfights as well. Just use your ultimate, then queue commands to walk and R where the enemy team is and delete them.
I tested it in try mode, you can get up to 4-5k DAMAGE PER SECOND.

They will probably disable imperius from gameplay until a fix comes out or it will be patched like tomorrow. When game breaking bugs like this appear, they do that, like when Falstad was bugged and his trait worked even when he received damage.

Tested in try mode just now and confirmed it works. Hopefully this is fixed quickly.

this is a great day for Imperius mains! they must take advantage of this bug before it’s fixed. what do you want more than deleting the whole enemy team alone? 1 vs 5 Imperius ezpz just get lvl 10 and game is on!!!
I would not advise abusing this.
People got banned for abusing bugs of this magnitude.

but it’s not their fault such bugs exist… it’s not like they created them it’s not abuse if it’s not fixed asap.
i would agree on this particular bug. this bug the only way it happens is you know what you are doing. its not accidentally you casted your ult multiple times.
so if they went with banning ppl it really is an at fault abuse here.
People abusing bugs in ranked , at least , have been banned before.
I am merely reminding this fact.

Let me just health swap as Samuro after being hit by the Imperius bug, then reporting him.
