Agreed, I love the OP’s proposal, but as Desu said, Blizzy may stand in your way, even if it’s just for fun with no money involved.

Just because Blizzard isn’t interested in their toys anymore doesn’t mean they’ll let anyone else touch them.
HotS is an asset, even now, and the fact you are talking about continuing to support esports after Blizz pulled their support, means they’ll want a big cut from any esports scene that might crop up and they sure as hell won’t spend any money making it easy for you.
I hope I’m wrong because any idiot can see how a thriving esports scene will benefit them, but then Blizzard doesn’t seem to be run by just any idiot now.
I’m here to support it, I love HotS, and it’s community. So i’m down to support it!
