Finding QM games at lower player level

Hey I started playing a few weeks ago now and am having a real hard time finding QM games even if I que as a tank, just wondering if having a lower player level (37) than most effects me finding games? should I just vs ai until its higher?

Thanks

There’s almost no new players to this game at the moment, so I won’t be surprised if it takes you almost 20mins of queueing to find games right now.

Nothing really that can be done about it, it’s not like Blizzard can just conjure up new players to the game

It is the lower level. You can play AI to raise that, or you can find people to queue with who have a higher level already. Personally, I recommend the latter. If you find someone you had a good game with, send them a whisper to see if they would like to add you as a friend in game. Many people who play AI play other modes as well, and may be happy to queue with you.

In addition, you can queue for brawls at any level and get into a game quickly. One benefit of playing brawls when you are new is that you can choose from three random heroes, so you can get some experience with heroes you might not own yet.

Good luck and have fun!

Are you not on the NA servers?

I recently made a “smurf” (do you call it’s smurf if it is not built to just have games where you dominate/etc?) account to practice some (well, a) hero I wish to get good at… but Without tanking my MMR more than they already have…

And I did not have issues doing QM at lower levels with heroes on or off the “call of the nexus” bonus.

Your best bet to get out of the New Player Protection Queue is to look for friends in-game (or IRL), run rampant in Versus AI and pray you get at least a 3-day Boost to help you boost up level.

Okay I will hit some people up in chat.
Thanks for the replies. I think hots is lots of fun, I hope more people start playing coming from playing a lot of vanilla wow it is good to be able to just log on and play some of the funner aspects of the game.

Thanks
