Fenix build 20 tacos

New to fenix,

Comments and thoughts on this build please.

Mobile offense
Target acquired (is this better than emergency protocol?)
Warp warfare
Purification salvo
Adanium shell (not sure about this one)
Offensive cadence (what’s best at this tier?)
Singularity charge

This build would be really good if you’re using warp as an offensive tool. And tbh, I never really even considered it as a possibility.
I always do a laser-cutter build, but I like your idea

If you go Warp Build you become Genji 2.0

I play fenix so much and winrate about 70%+ (imgur.com/a/bRqTWd4)
I sure have only 2 build you can use (Q build is most safe but most weak damage because blizzard nerf very much Q build since fenix release)

  1. If you want play as divine like genji use E build, it’s also good when you play as dps I use this build mostly www.heroesfire.com/hots/talent-calculator/fenix#oqEM . This build more risk but very high reward if you takedown one hero 80% you will win combat, keep using E whole combat kill one by one and win.
  2. If you want play fenix like dps this way more safe www.heroesfire.com/hots/talent-calculator/fenix#o5tU . But more safe is less award
  3. Lv 16 you can pick Adanium shell or dampening field, never pick auxiliary shield because blizz nerf this very much if you pick it, you got less total hp+shield and got only 10% shield regen per hit at lv 13 talent is very bad.
  4. Lv 20 have 2 optional “singularity charge” and “unconquered spirit” if everyone forcus you pick “unconquered spirit” or not pick “singularity charge” it really strong if you choose build “1” you can kill diablo full hp ,full stack in 4-5s
  5. Target acquired and emergency protocol not same way using, none of them better, if enemy team so many bust, you didn’t enough time make AA don’t choose target acquired, emergency protocol is better for running.
  6. Offensive cadence give you better damage this is % damage so ignore enemy armor, arsenal overcharge give you more time you Q and more time use E, Q is importal skill this make enemy slow down so you can hit them.

Yes, warp as an offensive tool. If I get a kill it resets CD and I can escape with it. That’s why I’m taking the warp gives armour talent, because I need to survive once I’ve warped in.

Ive been told there will be tacos…

Thank you this was a very thoughtful reply, much appreciated.

That is exactly the build I play with Fenix. Not only does it allow you to go deep into forts to finish low HP enemies & get out safely, it gives you very very high single target damage after you get Offensive Cadence (since Warp Warfare boosts your attack speed to 175%). You can take down a tank faster than Tychus.

For your survivability it’s very important to get Adanium Shell for this build. Without the 50% armor you are very vulnerable after teleporting. With this build you are going in with every teleport to gain a takedown and reset the cooldown of Teleport to gain yet another 4 seconds of armor and +175% attack speed. If you don’t get a takedown, you are screwed.

Build is fine for QM or lower ranks, but when you rank up people will interrupt your E and collapse on you every single time.

If you want a more optimal build, here it is:

Level 1 - Arsenal Synergy (really good for poking) or Mobile Offense (more damage when stutter stepping).
Level 4 - Target Acquired (this is how you chase people)
Level 7 - Combat Advantage (really good damage) or Divert Power: Weapons (this is really good if you can AA a lot).
Level 10 - Salvo
Level 13 - Usually Auxiliary Shields, but if they have a lot of spell damage Dampening Field can work well.
Level 16 - Photonic Weaponry (just more damage overall) or Offensive Cadence (against heavy melee/single target damage).
Level 20 - Always Unconquered Spirit.

I can see where you are going with this build, it’s the AoE damage build which I think I will learn also, but you would surely take inhibiting energy instead of target acquired at level 4,for the slow which will give extra damage with synergy at level 7 and 10 taking talents that deal more damage to slowed targets?

Target Acquired is good because it helps you chase people or even escape. You don’t really need the slow because you will often have slows from other teammates that will help you. The level 7 also helps you setup your ultimate, you can Q and R right away. Your Q will keep going even when you are using salvo. Make sure to always Q first if you are going for it, because you can’t do anything during salvo.

Esos tacos lucen terribles.
E build is good but i don’t like Mobile Offense for it because i feel like i’m going to break my mouse, so i take Advanced Targeting just for the dmg increase but if i feel i can’t hit so many enemies with my Q then i choose Arsenal Synergy to mix between play styles.

I’ve found that the warp build is best right now. To be fair, Q build is pretty good as well. I’ve had lots of success with hybrid versions mashing both together. I used to like the old Q build before auxiliary shields were nerfed to oblivion.

I used to like playing Fenix, but whenever I feel like a character is oppressive, I tend to not play that Hero until my opinions change.

Can someone tell me why Plasma Cutter needs a 25% recurring slow? I feel like that’s why I view Fenix as oppressive even after all of his numerical nerfs. Past Level 4 with Target Acquired, you simply can’t touch him because he will kite you until the apocalypse happens. He has too much power creep imo.
