Fenix all in build is pretty awesome

  1. Mobile offense
  2. Emercency protocol
  3. Warp warefare
  4. Both
  5. Adanian shell
  6. Offensive cadance
  7. Unconquered spirit

So the trick is to wait before the iniciation started. You poke from afar, after their CC is used you warp in. Shoot whoever you can or the team focus. Get a kill and warp in to chase the other kills

Its like a robotic li ming

Mobile offense is bugged (multiple bonus procs get missed if you stutter step fast) so Q quest which increases AA damage is better for maximizing dps. Target Acquired is also a nice 40% move speed bonus on 4 and can be up nearly all game (since he stacks it up so fast).

But I agree that is the most fun and rewarding playstyle for Fenix. The passive playstyle where you just laser people is very boring. With your build you can anticipate warp resets, go in and get a kill, then instantly chase another person with 175% aa speed, 40% move speed and 50% armor.

With that build you can even win 1v2 or 1v3 fights once you get Unconquered Spirit.
Not to mention: If a person escapes into their fort, you teleport in, get a kill and instantly teleport out. Kind of like Genji but without a short reset window.

Fenix is my favorite hyper movile hero.

I’m afraid of playing reset heroes like Genji, Fenix, Ming that have their teleport go back on 0s cooldown for you to chain multiple kills personally. Feels very dota/lol:esque for me, especially since hots is supposed to be team based.

I always fear I’m going to mess it up. But if I didn’t have that fear I’d play him all day. One of the few good all rounder ā€˜carries’. Good wave clear. Takes camps well. Does well in 1v1 and teamfights. Can regen shield even with no healer around (great for QM). Very self reliant. Dream hero for ranking up.

I guess only time I’d take Genji instead of Fenix was to combo it with something like Lightbomb.

No need to be. Nobody is born with the intricate knowledge of each hero. Get used to the reset mechanism in AI or QM and it will soon be second nature, you will know when your warp will lead to a kill and when it’s too risky to go in.

And as with AnaBanana’s build, even if you make a warp error and go in too soon or late, you have 50% armor for 4 seconds which is very forgiving. If Genji does that same error he’s screwed.

Fenix is the only fun AA range hero.

I do mobile offense instead of emergency protocol usually. But yeah this build is so much fun

As someone said above it’s bad to take mobile offense atm, it is severely bugged and you don’t get the bonus half the time you attack after moving. It’s easy to test in try mode.

It’s like having no lv1 talent at all during fights if you get unlucky.

If they ever fix it then it’s of course a nice alternative.

Sorry I mean the level 4 ā€œtarget acquiredā€. Got my talents mixed up.

I would recommend Advanced Targeting and Target Acquired for levels 1 and 4. AT provides more reliable damage and the 3rd revolution of Plasma Cutter synergizes well with TA for the better chasing and kiting potential.

Also, I usually take Singularity Charge at level 20, just because the sheer amount of DPS you can pump out is absurd. You can literally melt most tanks in 5-6 seconds. You just have to be a little more careful about your positioning.
