Falstads W quest seems to only apply the bonus damage to the first lightning strike, in addition, the initial cooldown reduction is applied for picking the talent, but the quest reward CD reduction is not. The Reset Talents button in trymode does not remove the pinnacle reward, this can stack multiple times.
(The auto attack rewards also are not removed by the Reset talent buttons)
