Ive been seeing falstad dominating quite a lot of games tbh. The Q build is extremely strong and does absurd dmg (frequently like 1/3 of an assassin’s health). Feels pretty frustrating. Like out of my last 20 games ive had maybe 8 with falstad destroying everything in sight constantly.
I anticipated this would be about his level 20 gust stun locking for several seconds.
Anyhow, his Q only deals a lot if extremely stacked. Even with sammy/nova clones the Q doesn’t become that absurd.

In the same time, W build is crap. AA is mediocre.

IMO he has always been the best solo queue hero in the game due to high wave clear, good escape, good chase, good camp taking (including bribes), global presence, very high PvP damage, an ult that can either save an overextended teammate or completely reset a teamfight that is going bad.
There is a reason why people like Fan keep picking him for climb challenges… No matter how much Gust cooldown is nerfed or how much Z (Flight) cooldown is nerfed he just has everything. His macro game is top notch. His micro game is top notch. He can beat most heroes 1v1 during lane phase as well.
His HP pool isn’t high, but his barrel roll lets him escape most sticky situations.
He doesn’t even have a weakness except no CC, though he does have access to soft CC through slows. (He used to have a stun as well but this made him way over the top, Q build can no longer stun players).
I am not saying he is OP, because to take advantage of all these features you still need to be very careful about positioning, and you can’t just randomly blow your Q’s or Gusts for no reason, they require good timing and targets. But he is just the most well rounded hero in the game and I wish the team had made more such heroes.

It takes a really long time to Stack Q to where it actually does decent damage. And the only reason people pick it so much is because the other 2 builds are unreliable.
For Q to deal high damage outside of ARAM, Falstad’s enemies have to be completely unaware and walk into all his Qs all game.
Falstad is not a hero you could call OP.

Ya, and his win rate is completely balanced. He doesn’t need nerfs.
His overall kit might be the best in the game though. That doesn’t mean he’s OP

Try Stukov, Reghar, Anduin against him. Maybe Brightwing. They will help.
