Nexus originals is basically a way to include a tentacle loli for the weebs and a strong black female wakanda warrior for the all inclusive feminists. How about a new transgender Nexus original? Could be some fun lore about this transgender athlete hero, it’s like smurfing. A man who competes in woman sports is basically smurfing.

Vikings are combined with the Nexus Sisters so those can have thwir own quest like “Play SC Hero”.

Way to instantly turn a nice thread into a dumpster fire.
On topic, I’m sad that we’ll probably never see Sombra, Grom, Orisa, a Hydralisk, or Cydaea. I’d put Baal, Blackthorne, or Yogg-Saron on that list, but if we do get a hero it’s likely to be one of those three.

I mean they look kinda cool, but other than that, I never thought they were a great addition to SC2. It’s like oh yay, I just lost half my army instantly because I didn’t have detection. Spider mines at least were creepy and you could react against them. How would you even implement its kit to HOTS? Invisible, must be rooted to do massive AOE damage, and then slow rearming time? How would you differentiate it from Hammer?

not a nexus og but still stuffed into the class, it is kind of weird if you search for nexus heroes they show up, and they have the nexus symbol, but there is a way to show their older symbol, I don’t remember what combination of things you have to do though
Pretty sure that Chromie is supposed to cover that part now. Male dragon name on a female gnome has the whole “i chose my identity” story for chromie in some side-story collection.
Maybe not playable, but Orisa was invented by genius loli, and some articles have expressed concerns at what… fans have done with that one.
In DotA-Allstars.
Since Warcraft-mod DotA used a lot of existing assests, they had a hero use the sem-hero unit for one of the mounted knights — the sort that hares orcs, trolls etcetc
When Dota 2 was porting heroes over, it was speculates that one of the heroes would get changed to be female so the Strength heroes tavern would have more variety to it, that said hero waa changed come DotA 2. At the time, there were some (trolling?) players that were upset that not only was the character now a woman (but still as a stalleon so to speak) but the voice lines were changed to not be so war-driven bigoted and how dare valve do such a thing! 
edit note: Legion Commander. Didnt remember the name at the time, but Legion Commander was the bigot outlet for some players, but got changed away from that in dota 2 and apparently some people didnt like that

I was mostly looking for a new zerg hero as well. A nexus hero would have been nice too (nobody @ me), I don’t like orphea but qhira was such a blessing.
On the diablo side I was hoping specifically for Zoltun Kulle, or Itherael.

Because i don’t need this as a playable character in HOTS just to feel included? I am perfectly fine with a game that does not represent all sorts of stereotypes.
I am surprised that the salty racist bigot hero isn’t a request of yours because it seems very discriminating not having this stereotype in the game as well.

Widow Mines could probably appear in another hero’s kit, like Swann’s, but there’s no way one would ever be a hero on their own. There just isn’t enough there to work with to make an entire kit just for them.
