I really wish whoever I voted for my name would appear underneath.
I want people to know who I thought played well.
When I shake hands in real life I don’t wear an anonymous bag on my head so I would like to be less anonymous in this situation.

I suppose it couldn’t hurt. Personally I don’t care if people don’t know if I voted for them, I vote for the person I thought did best, ally or enemy.
I think the MVP screen should be revamped (at least have all 10 players on it) but I’m not sure if knowing the identity of voters is needed.
In 2020, you don’t shake hands.
Yeah me too, I love being voted and voting.
Voting system is meaningless anyway.
Who would care who voted for who As long you see people voting on you thats all that should matter.
People who vote in elections also dont spend time telling the candidate over email they voted for him/her. They just vote and go home just like this system.
Vote or dont vote and leave for next game. Why would you care for who voted for you when you properly wont see that player ever again.
Most people leave the MVP screen so fast they don’t even see the votes they get.
Imaging leaving and not see you get legendary vote
All those salt voters that vote for the enemy in vs AI
i would love it
slowly backs out of the room
they’re on to me
I mean clearly you don’t care which is fine and your opinion.
My opinion is that I want YOU to know that I think you played well.
Not some anonymous player.
I want you to know that even though my team lost that I respect your teams mvp.
I think your teams mvp deserves to know that the enemy team thinks they did well. (Or not mvp, anyone really)
But that’s just my opinion.
My question to you would be…
Why would this be an issue to have?
Currect. For me MVP screen is just a waste of time and only serve as a cosmetic thing that tells nothing about how the game went.
Most of the time bad metrics, or booby prizes like “avenger” because someone died 12 times but got 3 kills or something. Or map specific things that are meaningless like “seed collector” on GOT.
For my way of looking at it, what is the point when you don’t even have all 10 players on the screen? It’s not very engaging at all.
I was thinking of opening a thread suggesting this, but I kinda forgot about it. Get rid of the MVP “award” and give players a vote for each team, something like this.
My fave’s “silencer”. Useless.
You don’t even need to do anything special as Alarak to instantly be on the scoreboard with that one.
Just hit Q’s like a normal Alarak player is supposed to.
Same goes with the Trapper award for Malfurion. Completely useless award that you will automatically get for playing Malfurion normally.
Hat Trick, Team Player, Clutch Healer. There’s a few awards that take some effort. (TP or HT are probably the rarest - Team Player is given if you’re surrounded by multiple enemy heroes, kill someone and manage to get out alive)
Escape artist is a bit subjective - too easy to get with Genji or Tracer.
There’s always the option to type a compliment to a player. The beauty of it is, because compliments are so incredibly rare on the internet, your message will hold a lot of weight.
It comes back to how rare positive communication is online. Because openning up your chat bar is considered hard, voting is an attempt to swing the conversation.
I just usually upvote the MVP regardless, unless I think someone else deserved it, but fact is, most people are mega salty and won’t ever vote for a random person. I’ve lost count of the number of times I carried a game and not a single updoot. Oh well… /care.
I don’t want people knowing I voted for them because I would run the risk of punishment.
Also, remove MVP screen.
In mobile legends you can vote for more than 1 person, and you can see who voted for you. This is good sometimes to promote party making
I think most of the people didn’t care about the MVP screen, more if you think that usually, the MVP doesn’t have to be someone who has been the best player of the match, in fact, in multitude of matches the MVP is just someone that don’t listen to the team and plays on his own, not always I know, but it is usually like that.
Other thing about MVP is that is pretty hard to get it if you’re not playing with an assassin, the game just loves the assassin role and the teamfights, don’t care about the people who did everything else, like push the rows or go to the points of the maps (didn’t known a short name for those but I talk about the temples or the skull in the crow map, etc)
Then perhaps mvp can be crowned based off votes and not based off an algorithm.
But this is besides my point in the post
Again I get that it’s a small part of the game that doesn’t have significance to some players but it’s just something I’d like to see
