There is absolutely no excuse for this level of incompetence and/or laziness on the devs’ part.
If a hero can solo a boss without taking any damage at level 3, then use that boss paired with a level 1 talent to shove down an entire Fort against 2+ defenders, you’ve screwed something up royally.
Bonus points because they disabled Bribe, meaning there is no way the devs didn’t see this coming from a mile away.
It takes her about 30 seconds at level 3. You can’t take a Fort in under 30 seconds at level 3 against a 4 man group. She will, in turn, takes yours unless you respond to her as a 5 man to kill the boss.
That level of map control from one hero taking one boss is ridiculous.
You can’t see her. You don’t know she’s there until you hear the ping. You can guess, but at level 3 you’re more worried with soaking exp than ganking the camp at the opposite end of the map where there might be nothing.

In this game, when you can’t see enemies on the map, you shouldn’t assume they are afk at the core. Feel free to:
-Force a fight while enemy is down a man.
-Invade the camp capture
-Trade for your mirror camp while she’s away.
-Bully the lane with 4 man so you can take camps or gank in between waves
-And Much, Much More
Of all the changes that should be made in this game, this is not one of them. You will never improve your map awareness in this game without there being a negative consequence to your naivety.
Considering that it will take Sylvanas about 30 seconds to capture that camp alone, a bit of map awarness will lead in at last a couple of team mates going there to disrupt her (or kill and steal).
But considering the strenght of that merc, the speed at which repop and how its already immune to bribe effects, probably they can flag it as a full boss and I think no much harm will come from that solution.
Dumb Sylvanas players who think they are camp gods usually attempt this at bad times. Just ask yourself “where is my lane opponent?” every 20 seconds or so. If they don’t show up, they’re probably on the camp. Just time your arrival and stomp them. At the very least make them think twice about doing that again.
Don’t see Sylvanas on the map, just rush 3/4 of the way across the map as a 3+ man group to check the boss, got it. /s
The fact that she can pull that much attention just by threatening to solo boss is absurd, let alone the fact that you often have other things to worry about at the same time, like soaking exp, pushing lanes back, and making sure that 3 man bot doesn’t take your fort while you’re busy preventing Sylvanas doing that top with the boss.
I’ve tried exactly what you’re talking about. There is no winning in this situation. You show on the map and you get counter-ganked. You sneak over and gank her, and she just teleports over that wall right there. Even if you cap the camp and don’t get counter-ganked, Sylvanas is right there to make absolutely sure the camp gets no value. Meanwhile, the other 4 members of her team have been pushing lanes the entire time mostly uncontested.
This is busted, and it needs to change. This is a stupid mechanic that needs to be fixed. Classify it as a full-on boss, make it immune specifically to Merc Lord/Queen/whatever and Black Arrows, I don’t care, I’m just sick of seeing this BS in every other Hanamura game for the past 2 weeks.
Why the hell is nobody questioning the fact that OP claimed sylv can take a fort solo against multiple defenders. Thats ridiculous. If sylv can do the boss and than take your fort with it you are doing a horrible job defending.
I need to see you provide some logic first. So far it’s just been, “If you let them kill one of your forts, you may be able prevent Sylvanas from taking the other!” It seems to me like you’re just making excuses for leaving an objectively broken mechanic in the game.
No other hero can solo it from level 3 with only basic attacks, take no damage, and then give it 60% bonus damage just standing within sight range.
Kinda hard to do anything about it when the boss deals 1/2 your health in damage with one cleave when she’s nearby, along with the fact that any minion who approaches the boss gets insta-gibbed and your fort isn’t doing anything when she’s got Black Arrow it. That’s not even counting all the minions that stack up behind the boss, so if you don’t have a ton of both waveclear and single target focus, you’re losing that fort.
You know how hard dealing with a boss on Cursed Hollow is when there’s a Sylvanas with it? It’s like that, except it has about half as much health but deals over twice the damage.
