I’ve noticed my win rate has dropped extremely drastically lately, seeming to correlate with Blizzcon. I generally play mostly Quickmatches, and normally have the expected win rate of around 50%. But looking through my match history lately, I can see that from around the time Blizzcon began, it dropped suddenly to being consistently around 10%.
I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed a similar phenomenon to this, and has any suggestions as to why?
Some older player has returned, they had some lvl of MMR, but they lost their skills and they drown other players
It is most likely due to the current All-Free Heroes event we have. Many players are using this event to practice and play Heroes that they don’t own.
I’ve stopped playing HotS until the All-Free Heroes event won’t end, next week. Too many people that are going even on SL with Heroes that they barely know.
I did figure the all-free heroes event, mixed with the Deathwing announcement possibly bringing back older players, would likely have something to do with it. But shouldn’t that affect both sides of each match evenly, overall? In that case I should expect to perhaps see a decreased skill level among players in general, for both my team and the opposing teams. This could certainly result in some wacky matches, but theoretically should still result in something closer to a 50% win rate for me personally (or possibly higher, since I’m not a new or returning player).
Yet according to match history, my win rate has seriously been around 10% since Blizzcon… so I’m wondering how that’s possible?
That would explain all the complete idiots I kept seeing in my games.
