I just got done playing a ranked match with a gentlemen who was very unhappy from the get go and decided to feed all game from the moment the gates opened up as Leoric, What exactly can you do to assure types of players get the punishment they get? Is this what heroes ranked play is going to be like? Someone spamming “Ded game” and “Bad team” over and over again?
I have screencap and footage of the proof but apparently links aren’t allowed and I can’t seem to find any CS to submit it too.
That happened a few months back with a Hammer who after someone fussed at them for not being at the obj, proceeded to call us all bad and then run down mid lane and suicide into towers. The entire 20 min match. Over and over. Suicide after suicide.
Funny thing was we kept the game close all game until the end where the four of us wombo’d the entire enemy team and followed up with the core wipe win. Good times.
In the end the best thing for you to do is move on and get over it. Its an online game and the anonymity causes some to act out. Its just like getting flipped off or cut off in traffic.
You could seethe over it and ruin your day or you just ignore it and move on with life.
Yeah!
No, it doesn’t. You either get silenced or banned, and neither prevents the offender from playing the game and continuing to engage in the behaviors that got them silenced or banned.
What IF, you could actually contact support personally with screens, game id, etc like in good old times in old multiplayer games?
It would significally decrease false reports as it required additional effort from offended, than just press report button.
You can report them for AFK and/or Intentionally Dying, but from my experience it seems this kind of behavior is rarely punished in comparison to chat offenses.
You gotta report them for abusive chat. That’s pretty much the only thing Blizzard cares about, catering to the fragile community.
They get silenced and they can’t play ranked anymore.
The reporting does work but you shouldn’t expect it to work immediately as these things take time, and volume of reports, before action is taken. And frankly that is a good thing as reports and suspensions do not decay, meaning they’re there permanently and only can only proceed to worsen. This isn’t like WoW if that is what you were expecting in terms of bans and actions.
First problem is to determine what you want to do.
-Do you want to ban players?
-Under what criteria
-Determine criteria (determine bad player)
-Assign resources to sort reports, with statistical help, and index.
-Varia
That’s all i got…
