A teaser for our 85th hero (Imperius?) today?

I expect a teaser tomorrow Wednesday and Thursday with a reveal on Friday.

Everyone at Blizzard will be on holiday untill next month, so I don’t think we’ll see anything.

Today is Christmas. Why would you think there will be a teaser or something?

Teasers appear on Fridays/Saturdays.

Tuesday are for patch notes.

Patch note was already released on the previous Tuesday, so expect something next week.

But I’ll keep an eye on Twitter.

Edit: Since announcements are always released on a specific time, I want to note out that in less than 33 minutes you should probably check the news section or Twitter as they usually release stuff like patch notes or something similar to that.

Oh okey I thought about this from Milker:

“In fact, our 85th hero will be announced soon before hitting the PTR the first week of January.”

Next week is January and then the hero will hit PTR. So there should be teasers this week if they have not removed teasers and just reveal the hero.

People at Blizzard are on holidays. Not even gamebreaking bugs or 70% winrate heroes will be fixed until the second week of January.

Well the next hero will go live on the PTR next week. Probably on Wednesday 2th January. :slight_smile:

We may see some teasers on Friday or Saturday, so look forward to that.

Also Spotlight on new year? Interesting.

Or maybe the next week after new year? In that case it’s probably on 7th January.

Oh. Okey. I thought they counted Thuesday 1th January to Friday 4th January as the first week… Maybe they meant a whole complete week in January. But it’s only the Monday that is not in January so… Well we shall see.

I am guessing that we will see a teaser this Friday, PTR on Monday, and a release the following week. That is just a guess, mind you. Many US companies take time off between Christmas and New Year.

Really unlikely, to see something released on New Year’s Eve.

It makes no sense, like Christmas, people also take a day off on new year, well probably not everyone but still.

It might indeed be that we get a cold open with spotlight+PTR due to the holidays, but we will see. First week of the new year is´nt that far away so we will see soon enough.

Most likely Friday. If they go with the old pace, Wednesday is an extremely vague teaser, Thursday is something a bit better, (sometimes Friday is another teaser with Saturday having a spotlight.)

They may release early but I don’t think they will change their schedule for that, so it’s either we get lucky and we get the PTR on 31/12 or on 7/1.

For teasers and spotlight it will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sunday being the hero announcment or/and with the spotlight release.

That would imply Blizzard cares about their community, which they don’t. They know plenty of people will be doing video game things like purchases today. They can save the hype for a slower period.

Teasers/Announcements are always released 30 minutes as we speaking, if anything we may expect an unexpected Tuesday balance patch but we already got one a week ago, and there’s always a 2 week gap between Tuesday patch notes.

Maybe the teasers are scheduled on their twitter page? And no one has to work on their Twitter account? Just like you can schedule messages on your mobile phone at a certain time of the day it will be sent. :slight_smile:

They almost never tease on Tuesdays, and it is Christmas Day here, so I wouldn’t expect anything before Friday at the earliest.
