Yeah Tracer is a little broken right about now.
Tracer should get some small adjustments soon I think.

I’m not saying that she doesn’t deserve to get some hammerin’, but that specific clip is just a neat play, not some ‘disgusting crazy stuff’ or whatever.

More like Diablo and the rest of the team destroyed Varian. The most Tracer achieved is just using up all her remaining resources to get under the tower. She’d have survived but then that’s about it. Baiting Varian’s charge is old as the game, most infamous is when Junkrat draws Varian all over the map thanks to his rocket mount.

Lol, this is how you can counter Varian overall as Tracer by using blinks if you are skilled enough.
Varian counters Tracers if they are not skilled enough to pull him in danger position by Blinks. Otherwise - you saw what happenes.

You are more in control than Varian is in control on you.

In a nutshell he works the counter part if the Tracer sucks.

Yeah I don’t know why they changed tracer like this but at least in QM she’s just a free win now. Don’t even need to play her well. She was already hard to kill and they put auto heal and shields on the transfer.

But that’s bad for tracer in the sense that’s one less hard counter against you, which means you’re more likely to get nerfed
Good for tracer mains short term, very iffy in the long term

Nerfing hero because you are good on him and can counter “your counter” is bs.

Point and click cc is supposed to counter tracer, but in this case Varian has to dash in before using his point and click cc which leads to bad news for him. I’m wondering what the devs will do to balance tracer even after the bug fix

Tracer counters Varian because how Varian’s E works. So instead doing something to Varian’s E to make him not suffer from good Tracer you want to nerf Tracer?

I mean nerfs are happening anyways and probably an extra buff for Raynor because he apparently needed it xD

On a serious note, not really, that mechanic is highly difficult to execute but the reward can be good if you have the consistent follow up in the process.

Varian hard counters her just like she can do it unless she’s very experienced, the concept of what Varian needs to do to counter her is rather easy, but the concept of what Tracer needs to do to counter him is hard and requires follow up.

Point being, he’s a counter, not a hard counter, and it always like that for the last 4 years, but you guys realize it now? lol

I wouldn’t say it counters but Taunt is not the answer unless you manage to deplete Tracer’s resources first. Counter implies that Tracer can somehow nullify Taunt used on other heroes.
Counter =/= Beating a hero 1v1

Raynor should get a damage nerf. Even though I play him, he’s just too safe and he already starts out at a range higher than the standard attack range. Now if they want to turn him into a scaling damager and range, I wouldn’t say no to that.

Same with sylvanas needing nerfs. If her basic attacks did half damage against structures, this would balance her shutting down towers and not being able to shred them as fast while allowing her team to free dive too. Shutting down towers without damaging them is already a huge advantage and it shows with her being so good

Of course, but if you are pulling varian out of position by literally into your team you pretty much transformed into a hook he cannot eject from, the dude cannot cancel it, and a follow up from YOUR team, in a game where you are suppose to be in a TEAM, doing TEAMWORK is fatal.

Its 2020 and we still do binary comparisons smh.

In short:

  • Varian not charging => Useless
  • Varian charing => Tracer predicts and blinks back into her team forcing out of position => Useless
  • Tracer doesn’t know how to do it and get taunted => Varian useful, probably.

Sylvana’s damage to structures isn’t her main problem… It’s about her dmg to heroes.

The thing is her trait is just there, and her talent choices increases her damage to heroes. It’s going to be hard to nerf her fairly. No one really talks about sylvanas here but when I do, players say all my supposed s-tier heroes are just popular, not op.

I just want to clarify my last comment: What happens in the video don’t bother me at all. It is smart use of the mechanics.
It is the last change that make her even harder to kill than before that bothers me, as I didn’t see any tracer losing a game recently or having less than 10 KDA

Start with reverting the HP buff, is my go to.

She got 100 HP like 2 years ago, why not revert that? Make it riskier in the process? :thinking:
