@Developers: Grom Hellscream... when?

Literally the only thing can make me to start playing again. Are we gonna get him anytime soon?

Please no more orcs.

Probably never. Garrosh is in, and we already have a separate orcish blademaster. And before someone says ā€œbut what about anduin and Varian?ā€

Anduin is a healer and doesnt use a sword. Varian is heavy melee. Completely different characters and playstyle.

Dude are you high or smth? Last Orc came out 2,5 years ago you know right?

It doesn’t cancel a fact that we have 5 of them already. Give some space for other races if you want WC heroes.

Yessss, i need Grom! We need Grom! He got lots of hardcore fans and bunch of haters. Perfect character :joy:

I still ask myself - how will they add him? He was Blademaster on WC 3 and his kit is literally same with Samuro’s.

ā€œNo more orcsā€ is a dumb sentiment. We have one of the most well-known WoW characters, a fan-favourite WCIII hero, a mok’nathol, a mag’har, a corrupted warlock, and admittedly one kinda nobody. That’s a diverse pool, and Grom doesn’t cross any of those.

Grom isn’t even my most wanted character, but I’m totally on the fans’ side. The anti-Grom crowd are just whining for no reason.

He’s not a Blademaster in lore. He only has a blademaster kit in Warcraft III because every hero got a campaign representative and there were no story-relevant Blademasters. He’s always been a brutal warrior in the lore, not a stealth guy.

What is your idea of Grom’s kit? What would he be in Hots?

Something closer to Twin Blades Varian or The Butcher. A relentless melee assassin.

For poeple who got no idea who is Grom or more like what is Grom… He is definitely NOT a Blademaster. People haven’t still learned it even after years. He was a Blademaster in Warcraft 3 because Blizzard was too lazy creating special class for him. Even Micky Neilson stated that he is not a Blademaster and it’s official.

As for Garrosh part, people who knows Grom Hellscream is a bit would know that he is totally inverse of a Tank. He is %100 offensive. Just charging and killing things and always been like that. So please don’t do a mistake like comparing him with Garrosh.

I’m more pointing out that it’s unlikely, since his son is already in. I’m aware that Grommash is not a tanky type lore-wise. (I’d argue that garrosh’s tank kit doesn’t fit with his lore, but that’s a different story.)

I think if the dev team had any intent of adding Grommash, they would have added him instead of Garrosh.

And I say no more orcs, because we still don’t have any gnomes (Chromie doesn’t count) only 1 troll, 1 blood elf, no real (appearance wise) undead, 1 goblin, 1 tauren (who isn’t even in lore), and 1 draenei

We should have more of those first before we have a 6th ā€˜variety’ of orc. (Slapping another name on it doesn’t change that the only really aethetically different orc is gul’dan).

God bless you Murky. Finally putting some sense on these Reddit guys.

And still missing the most iconic variety of the Orcs in Blizzard’s Warcraft: Aggresive Orc Warrior

Ok, you got me there. No idea why they don’t have those. Its what garrosh should have been, but again, different argument.

All that being said, I still would rather have more diversity in other warcraft races first. For example, a zandalari Dino troll. Or a loa troll. (Hakkar himself would be cool)

Please no more Orc Warriors.

Other kinds of orc are capable of being interesting. Orc warriors are the single most generic thing imaginable.

Garrosh is a warrior too but not as bloodthirsty as his father. He led troops mostly while Grom loved to bath in blood all over. I would like to see many other races too but trust me, Grom fans been waiting for too long. They (we) have been asking for him since Beta stage of the game. I think Grom fans should have priority over other requests for now.

Grommash Hellscream is like the most overhyped char ever, from Azeroth.
It’s like the Imperius of the Warcraft franchise.

Grom is interesting, likable, succeeded in his goals, and part of good stories. He’s nothing like Imperius.

He is many things, but he does not qualify for either of these two.
