I usually read all of the short backstories on every new skin and hero, for reasons.
Anyway, Cosmonaut Qhira seems to have… a surprisingly odd symbolism.
“While the Cosmonauts franchise is often criticized for not even having a popular TV show based around it, these complaints generally fall on deaf ears to the fans who are too busy actually playing with the toys to care.”
OK.

I don’t see the symbolism. Is it not just kids liking the toys because they’re toys?
2 meanings:
- HotS doesn’t have HGC anymore so “dead game” crowd maintains its identity as leaders of dull lives but people who actually have fun playing hots dgaf about that noise
- Qhira didn’t come from a previous game but she’s fun so shut up
I like meaning 1 the best. Who knows which one was intentional (probably definitely the Qhira one) but #1 has always bothered me more as a player (and they’re devs so they are probably differently bothered than me)

This HGC reference…tries to cry manly tears… fails miserably.

They should add “So the creaters instead tried their fullest to change the toy that people allready enjoyed to a far worse quality to the point where people couldnt play with it anymore due to risks of getting cancer” OMEGALUL
This. I was wondering why people didn’t post a thing about the description of new Qhira skin.
People on Asia server is flipping sht out on that rn.
Devs firing shots with that skin description.
Honestly I didnt even notice. To busy freaking out over the buzz light-year coloration
