So I used to love heroes of the storm because it was fun.

It is not fun anymore.

I came back to the game after a year of league of legends to get totally stomped on in every game by the new black chick that is a copy of league of legends new black chick. Right now (after Blizz moved the game to maintenance mode) I’m pretty sure nobody is paying for the new heroes with cash so what is the point of making new heroes pure troll and really not fun to play against.

Also, Blizzard nerfed the most awesomely fun abilities in the game (water dragon and double dragon) by moving almost all Lili’s healing power into cups and over a number of patches nerfing everything else until water dragon was unusable.

From time to time I come and check the patch notes to see if anything is done to fix this problem, then I go back to league of legends knowing that it is a game where the team tries to make the game super awesome fun for everyone and pays attention to the community.

Congratulations blizzard.

I forgot to talk about the new mastery rings.

I paid a ton of gold for Chen’s mastery skin the moment I was able to and the same with Nova and The Lost Vikings and IT FELT GOOD BECAUSE MASTERY SKINS ROCKED!

I still don’t understand why blizzard got rid of the mastery skins and didn’t double down on the idea by making more for higher level heroes.

These new mastery rings are A TERRIBLE IDEA and a good reason to play league of legends.

Edit 2: For anyone who thinks this post is racist because of “the new black chick that is a copy of league of legends new black chick” it is an intentional joke where I didn’t name them to highlight the name copying as well as the character copying. For those who do not know league heroes, Qiyana in league was the basis for Qhira in Hots.

  • An assassin champion whose entire kit revolves around mobility and cc…
    +Jungle background
    +Dark skin(There are not many dark skinned heroes in League or HOTS)
    +Name is super similar
    +released roughly the same amount of time behind the lol champion as all other heroes champions have been for a long time (There are exceptions like Deathwing. Shyvanna has been out for ages and she isn’t perma dragon but needs to transform. Alexstrasza is already the copy of Shyvanna with healing and less damage so there is a slim chance that maybe potentially in some kind of way Deathwing could be called a little bit original)

This is an l2p issue. When Qhira (thats “The black chicks” name) uses her E have your healer cleanse the teammate she’s attached to, then stun or CC and kill at your leisure. Its not hard. Its about counter play.

League’s new black chick… you mean Senna? The… the one carrying… a gun? Who looks like a shielding character of some kind? Who was announced months after Qhira was already released?

You probably should re-learn to play after such a long break. While similar, LoL and HotS have very different game play and you’re probably just out of touch. Also just look around for info on how to counter Qhira and you’ll discover that she far less problematic than you think.

Well this was a crap show from start to finish… FYI, water dragon was always garbage, but I can at least agree that I don’t like the rings… It’s not that they’re bad, they’re just not very interesting or imaginative. They feel like what should be an auto unlock as you level, but be turned off for ranked games.

Either way, you not having fun because you are not up to date with the game isn’t the games fault.

At worst her numbers were overtuned and honestly she was only overtuned for Quick Match

Blizzard also discouraged me from playing HOTS. I am currently limited to several ARAM matches.

I played 7 games on Sunday. This game is pretty much a lot of fun! thank you.

I’m assuming he means Qiyana. Won’t blame you for forgetting, since her release was almost entirely overshadowed by TFT. That being said, fairly certain the only common ground between the two are that they’re women with darker skin, who are assassins with some kind of dash.

I didn’t realise all healers had cleanse. My bad. I definitely need to learn to play because I thought only some healers had it and it was an optional choice for most of those who can choose it.

I understand where you are coming from. However, you need to appreciate that way back in the day when water dragon was new and shiny and fresh and full of magic (I played heroes since the beginning) water dragon was FREAKING AWESOME and when you cast it, the game was changed.

There has been a lot of power creep over the years with all the new hero releases and now when it is cast 99% of the time the only thing that happens is the enemy team realise you don’t have cups and can go to town wrecking everything.
