Chances of a Feral Druid in HotS

I have mained feral druid on WoW for nearly 6 years before i quit on Draenor and switch to HotS.

Now in terms of WoW classes, which all represent thousands of players,

Warrior: Varian for damage specs and Muradin for tank spec (and bunch of other WoW characters as tanks)
Rogue: Valeera (Zeratul has similarities)
Mage: Jaina and Kel’thuzad for frost, Kael’thas for fire, Medivh for arcane
Paladin: Uther for holy and protection, Yrel (also Tyrael is similar to a WoW paladin)
Death Knight: Arthas
Monk: Chen, Li-li (and maybe Samuro ? idk) (Kharazim is also similar)
Hunter: Zul’jin, Rexxar (Valla has similarities with WoW Hunters)
Demon Hunter: Illidan (Havent played WoW after DH release, dont know if he fills both Havoc and Vengeance specs)
Warlock: Gul’dan (Not sure about what spec i would associate him with, but we already have Lunara instead of a full Affliction Warlock, and instead of demonology we have characters like Azmo, Nazeebo, Zagara)
Shaman: Rehgar, Thrall (Thrall’s abilities can also fill the elemental shaman spot)
Priest: Anduin, Whitemane and Tyrande (3 healer priests, no shadow priest)
Druid: Malfurion for restoration and balance (No feral or guardian)

So in summary, what’s most obviously missing from the game in terms of WoW classes is:

A shapeshifting druid
A shadow priest.

Now considering feral druids (and the druid shapeshift mechanic in general) is such an important part of WoW, don’t you guys think it’s a little unfair not having one in HotS?

People might argue that we don’t have tons of Overwatch heroes in HotS too, but WoW does not have dozens of playable characters…

On one hand i think that D2/D4 style druid would be more likely
On the other hand troll bearmantle would complete the wow gladiator’s pack.

I am sorry but I want shapeshifting/summor druid from Diablo 2
Bliz created the shapeshifting druid in Diablo 2 1st then they use the same idea in WC/WoW.
So I would very upset if it from WC/WoW instead of Diablo

There was actually a pretty extensive Broll concept on the forum, but I can’t remember who made it and can’t find it in search. It was posted some weeks ago.

Varian is literally all three warrior specs in wow. He even has the wow level up sound and everything. Garrosh is nothing like any class in wow.

I can see it as a possibility, though not any time soon sadly. I also believe a Diablo Druid is probably more likely.

Hmmm… If you are counting each spec as a playable characters, then WoW does have dozens of playable characters… 37 to be exact?

And if you aren’t counting each spec separately, then…

Varian is all of the specs.
Garrosh iirc doesn’t really have real WoWarrior abilities.
Mura, yes.

You forgot The Real KT, the Lich himself (with the cat). Frost Nova.

You forgot Yrel.

And I don’t get the idea that you list non-WC characters as “WoW specs”.

I mean… if Zagara is a bracketed “demonologist”, than we have our feral druid in Genn Greymane.

But agree that we need a shapeshifter druid, that’s classic in any rpg world.
And having a shadow priest can also be neat I guess. Tho I rather have a Shadow Hunter since OG WC in Vol’jin.

I see your point but if you played wow pvp for long enough you will know that some classes have very similar specs. Like they wont make 3 different rogue heroes for all 3 specs, valeera fills all spots. Same goes for Warrior damage specs.

On the other hand we have nothing that even comes close to a feral or guardian druid.

By demonology i meant the little minions you spawn that do the fighting for you :slight_smile: But yeah you’re right Greymane does shapeshift, I don’t know which class i would associate him with though, since he has a gun, maybe Hunter ? :slight_smile:

I mean you gotta admit, Zeratul does feel like a rogue or Tyrael like a paladin am i wrong? :slight_smile:

Broll Bearmantle would be perfect. We could use a Bear-form Tank.

[Q] Charge
[W] Swipe
[E] Bite
[R1] Demoralizing Roar
[R2] Rebirth

And the banter between himself and Malfurion/Tyrande/Illidan would be very cool.
