Cassia rework is weak. Tracer rework is fine

Non of Cassia’s build are strong enough. I played on a smurf to check out her Q and E build. Even with 157 stacks on Q I only just made it to the top hero damage. Her E build is just as bad. It puts out almost no damage the only nice thing is her protected at lvl 13. I havn’t tried her AA build yet. Maybe reverse all the nerfs to her base damage on Q and E. And then give her some health back.
Tracer’s rework is fine. She has a lot of talent diversity now. Even though she is always should be played the same way. (I got double as much hero damage than the second highest in those matches).
Don’t hate on each other. I think most of you will agree. Good day.

Honestly I think two small changes could probably fix her.

  • Revert her AA “wind-up” to what it was before, its so clunky and feels awful to cancel it because you want to stutter-step. Imagine playing Raynor or Valla with Cassia’s windup, it just wont work.
  • Her trait should decrease over-time the same way it increases over-time. Losing your trait from pseudo-stuns like ETC’s W feels awful.

AA talents could probably use a small buff too honestly. But I suppose the two points above is what I’d like most.

Where did you find any info this “wind-up” got changed?

Tracer has very good talent choices now. Although her base damage is reduced a little bit her sustain is increased significantly. That means you can stalk enemy heroes longer as a Tracer instead of just drop a pulse bomb and leave from fear of tanking more damage than you’re dishing.
I had a 55% win rate as Tracer before rework and was fine with her anyway. Almost lvl 40 with her so I know very well how she works.

Tbh I can see some nerfs coming up because she feels a little bit too strong now and bad tracers now can get away with bad decisions easier.
That’s my own two cents.

Love her talent diversity though.

read the new patch notes

I did couple of times and I dont see any information about AA “wind-up” changed. Unless you two mean regular Attack Speed?

Ah, he is talking about the ‘wind-up’ of the physical armor. Her trait.

tbh i think they need to move those gloves of alacrity up a few tiers. she needs the range increase much sooner than where it is for her AA build to make any kind of sense. i tried it and i still think she needs a base 1 increase in the early game for AA. which can be solved by moving that talent.

Tracer surely feels interesting but I can’t figure out any sort of competitive where I go “yeah Tracer would be good choice here”, it seems the same story with her but now different talents and such, I will still pick Valla again and again as she overall a better Tracer in a nutshell.

Lol you would say that wouldn’t you. Trying to protect your main?

Her damage was nerfed in compensation for more sustain, her heroic ability deals less damage than a living bomb before level 10, she has the sustain she asked for but its stupidly absurd to the point that it needs a nerf by itself, still however she deals less damage than she did before and due that she doesn’t compete as well as similar generalist hypercarries, I would still recommend Valla or Greymane over Tracer any day, they have the damage and engage needed to secure kills.

Also kindly less Ad Hominem more strict arguments, thanks.

Tracer rework is weak. Cassia rework is fine.

Cassia trait falls off too quickly. Tassassin gets to keep his build up for 6 seconds but Cassia loses it almost instantly (.625 seconds.)

Either give us 1 second (minimum) or have it degrade at the same speed it ramps up.

finish him sami

Her AA build and E build is what I tried so far and AA is absolute trash, avoidance is utter garbage. Her E build however while not great, the 2.5 seconds protected is COMPLETELY busted. It’s such a huge power spike it’s better than her ultimate abilities. You can survive SO much BS, you suddenly become a pseudo tank, like wtf. Cassia is a bruiser now, solely because of that one talent. It’s ridiculous. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs to be kicked in the head by a donkey (same applies to whomever thought it was a good idea for avoidance to last 0.5 seconds before losing ALL stacks of it, seriously the duration is PATHETIC)

My win rate as Tracer is 51,2%, which is average, but most of my games I was ending up with 10-20 kills (and about as many assistists) and 0-4 deaths.
I can’t really see them nerfing her any more than they already did.
Yeah, the self-sustain is nice. You can even solo lane now, but she’s still one of the squishiest heroes. You need longer time to kill enemies, and thus they have more time to reach safety.
Not to mention that now her “ult” deals less damage than some heroes’ basic abilities.
If anything, they should buff her a bit.

What is the key pattern doe?

Riiiiight. Tracers rework is actually fine and she works as intended, Cassias rework is garbo.

You need someone to safely finish off targets underneath towers, now that they target dives.

She is no longer an ADC who requires a tassadar up her a** to function

Yeah, she’s now a sustain house with no damage what so ever.

Call me defending her but even high masters are figuring it out over how suboptimal she deals.
