When I saw the fusion dance for the first time in DB, I was utterly disappointed. The result after was kool. For such an epic result the dance was garbage and the chant is equally lame.
I totally agree. That’s why every memeing about is so much funnier. Like the version in Avatar the last airbender

I think that’s the point. If it’s not goofy and cringe, Vegeta is more likely to accept Goku’s request.

I doubt the dance even mattered. He had too much pride and the idea of needing help was difficult for him to accept. Heck, they had the earrings to skip the dance and I’m sure he was all petulant about it.
The series had it’s funny moments and stuff, but I feel it shouldn’t have been used for the fusion dance.
I wonder if the dance is a reference to an actual dance.
