Then that is what makes us different. I play with cards dealt regardless what they are I look for victory, and/or prepare for the next one.
If I won an unfair match, I could only imagine how much more terrifying I would be to my opponents if we were on an even playing field. The odds maybe stack against me, but I bare a name I must live up to.
Dev 1: People are dodging games and creating very minor inconveniences for their would-be teammates because our matchmaking system is pretty terrible. What are we going to do about it?
Dev 2: Punish them for avoiding trying to circumvent our incompetence, lol!
Dev 3: Also, make sure we punish all of their teammates as well with our terrible AIs!
Dev 4: How about we actually fix the problems with our matchmaking and AI?
Dev 1: Dev 2, Dev 3, great ideas! Dev 4, youâre fired.
At this point, Iâd just say stop playing QM. ARAM is a pretty good substitute, but if you arenât a fan of that then there are always other games out there, since the devs seem to keep trying to strangle the life out of this game.
Because Match Making systems are these black boxes that will magically manifest players out of the ether that are willing to play the heroes and roles that you donât just to make sure that YOUR match meets all of your individualize criteria for what makes a good composition.
Iâm with you OP. Canât just dodge auto-loss games anymore sucks. All this change did is now the 4 people in your team have to suffer through the game with bot. Before they would just go for another quick que with another poor bastard in your place.
Playing the video game known as Heroes of the Storm.
Am I only idiot, who doesnât dodge QM games no matter what?
Funny. A while ago they made the parameters much stricter. Turns out, nobody liked 10 min queue times, so they had to backpedal.
Itâs kinda the reason that itâs quick match with random opponents. If people donât like the game mode that is also fine.
I guess the devs didnât like the dodges in their game. That doesnât really affect me much tbh. It was annoying to start a game, but very minor.
Only cowards runs from matches.
Pathetic.
Iâve never ever draft dodged in QM. I take on any challenge it might come with.
Good thought process.
When I see a cheeseball comp in QM. I just think âChallenge acceptedâ and try to win with it regardless.
There is nothing more glorious than a match where people on your team starts going âGG lost by MMâ before the gates are even down, but then you win⌠by a landslide!
Or even better, by 2% on the core in a nail-biting base race!
It all comes down on how much you trust that murky really.
Imba games like these is how you get better at the game.
No they donât stop it.
There is nothing to be learned from a game that is over before it begins except how NOT to form a team comp.
Itâs very easy. Press Alt+F4 and show the game creators what is fun to yourself.
Not going to lie, I frequently used this âfeatureâ. Since most of the time itâs impossible to make a full premade and you have to suffer with 4 randoms, and sometimes the team comps just indicate what you are in for the next 20 minutes.
I play QM only to have fun, I donât think playing something like Aba+Viking+Nova+Rexxar vs a balanced enemy team is fun. I know you can win with any team comp vs. any other team comp, but usually you will get stomped with a horrible team composition.
But as said above, ending the process with task manager or using alt+f4 still works, just makes it more tedious to relaunch the client.
I can bet nobody like 2 minutes queue times⌠A ready check is neither here or there, but people make it about queue times regardless, and thus complain about comp.
Community:
Short queue time, bad comp, complain.
Long queue time, better comp, complain.
for the record, they are different people. Now some of those who complained about both (i am one) did so because after a 10min que it still gave you garbage comps anyways, so you waited longer for nothing.
Iâve been a big advocate of balancing hero capabilities for awhile, things like not having triple front line against zera, not stacking all the CC/waveclear/sustain on a single side, but that isnât going to get fixed by trying to force tank/healer into every match.
Actually, they are the same people.
Let me know if you back out cause the comp is not perfect.
