Paired with 4 man teams, the way the mm system works they are always way bellow the averge skill of the game. Its very frustrating to be paired with say 4 mid golds in a low diamomd game.
And then what what happens if everyone checks the options?
People having 3 friends aren’t allowed to play anymore?
Would ruin less peoples games than now.

I mean 4 men can be a bad experience especially if the solo guy has the most MMR and needs to babysit but this i no different that being put with 4 bad solos.
I would support OP if he wanted to ask for the MMR to not have giant swings when you have 4 men but to bare them from the game is a bit too much.
But the system actually puts you with lower mmr players the more players on the team. They were gold 1-3. I am high diamond, the other team was diamond 1-4.
It was not even close. In a 17 min game there was a 31 kill difference. I died twice. Our tass had 9 deaths at 10 mins. The other team had 4… i solo killed all 4.
This is more of the results of the game forcing groups to face one another to spare all solos from the same MMR range.
You group 3+ and you face 3+ groups that can range from bronze to master, happens a lot of if you do not play solo.
It’s insane you can play in a solo Q environment with friends in the first place and 4 mans are usually far below the 1 players skill and inting him the game and then reporting him.
Also I see a pattern with you not brining arguments and only talking disruptiveness.
If four people are in a party, and the one pick up’s game was ruined because of it, then by definition less people’s game was ruined that if the four party members were unable to play because you didn’t want to get teamed up with them.

Really what you’re complaining about is being the 1 whose game gets ruined, but this game isn’t balanced around you personally, so that’s not really anyone’s problem but yours.
In League of Legends there’s flex queue, which is a ranked queue where you can queue with 1, 2 and 4 people.
4 premades usually mean harassing and bias towards the one person who isn’t their premade.
Though I don’t think what the OP is saying is right, I’ve experienced it in LoL.
And no, Im not saying I want this system in HotS, it was just an example because it isn’t so insane or weird to know this system does in fact exist, but not because of MMR reasons.

I have been subject to it and i won’t reject responsibility and saying i have always been a nice solo nor a nice 3- 4 man.
But making a game option that can bar the game from people is also wrong.

My experience from QM: If there are premades in my team, we will lose most of the times. They play bad, they pick the worst hero combinations possible and will ignore other players and the team.
Then you have everyone who complains that winning against 4-5 man is impossible…
That is becuase it is impoissble to match up vs a 5 man. There is no way to balance the mmr or familiarity with playing toegther. Not to mentiin in qm they can pick thier comp. The thing is the longer you are in que the wider the mmr gaps can be.
Why are we counting the other team? If I recall correctly, you said

No one wants to play stomps. They are no fun no matter which side you are on.
