Seriously, the delay (*on Cassia’s trait - Avoidance) is unnervingly small, it’s stress inducing just looking at it. You can’t cast a W and Q at the same time, it’s just unfun in every way. I don’t even want to go into the efficiency of it, that’s a whole other conversation, with mini-stuns and roots and taunts and the like, but the whole concept of having half your build gone because you dared to cast your W and Q one after the other is ufun to the core.
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
If I’m interpreting their babble correctly, I think they are talking about an internal cooldown between all abilities, and think it’s too small.
It’s literally in the title Avoidance. Cassia’s trait has a very small delay since the rework for it’s uptick.
Then say Cassia’s trait.
LOL. avoidance is too general a term to expect us to catch that it’s cassia’s trait. your post looked like total gibberish.
I honestly never saw anyone use the word avoidance in this specific form other than that trait but that may just be me…
in a nut shell, all her skills need the fend treatment. when cast the armor doesn’t stop. though i have had it go away before fend has connected before… yes there is a problem i would say there, like i said in another post cassia will never be balanced because of her trait. its too weak for lower leagues, yet it strong for higher leagues.
I like the protected on the Fend at 13 but I had it MULTIPLE TIMES not trigger because I was rooted or blocked mid jump. It’s annoying asf.
They actually increased the delay of Avoidance compared to before while the casting speed of the abilities remained the same. So I’m rather confused why people complain about maintaining her trait. Yes, stand around and cast all your abilities and you will lose it. Happened before, happens now. At least it isn’t another complaint about not being able to maintain Avoidance while auto-attacking. Her attack animation speed didn’t change at all, only the period between them which means you effectively move MORE, not less. There’s a chart about attack speed and “effective slow” when using auto attacks while stutter stepping. It’s an inverse relationship.
That’s the intended counter play. I advise using Fend like how it was meant to be in the past: in coordination with your team. You aren’t the only hero that gets CC in the face if they get close, especially if they stand in one place. If counterplay is so frequent, have the healer apply Cleanse on you soon after Fend goes off. Although if you get CC-d mid-jump before any damage triggers that’s your fault. You were way too predictable. Try to mix it up.
You can Q + W without losing trait.
You can even AA + Q + W but its most likely impossible on regular basis. Not for me at least.
Just saying.
I don’t think you understand. They didn’t STUN me AFTER the E started doing damage. A random root or mini-stun caught me WHILE Cassia is dashing towards the target to deal damage, so the Fend is interrupted, deals NO damage at all, doesn’t bring me all the way to the target AND my entire lvl 13 talent doesn’t proc at all, giving me no protection AND I also lose my trait.
And yeah before you’d lose your trait instantly but you also got it back instantly instead of having to wait 3 seconds.
I’d love to F-in see a video of you pulling off a Q+W regularly or doing an AA+Q+W even once without losing your trait. You’re talkin out of your backside.
It’s 30 flat armor now, so they gotta be real careful.
Right, but her HP, attack range, speed, damage, hp regen, etc…is all balanced around that fact, don’t forget. So whenever you have that 30 armor off, it’s not like being on 0. It’s like being on -30.
I think they were too optimistic about how well the average Cassia can stutterstep. Increasing the avoidance timer by like 0.2-0.4 seconds should be more reasonable.
By design Cassia should just always have her armor on unless she’s in a stunlock.
If she’s becomes too strong then they can reduce health or damage, but the avoidance timer is just pointlessly tedious.
