“blinds counter butcher” is something of an oversimplification in general. Cassia and ana might be able to help a teammate out if they get charged (maybe) but theres little they’re going to do if butcher charges them personally. Generally speaking butcher’s counterplay is simply not being out of position, and having reliable teammates. Much more often, the issue is the former. Occasionally it’s the latter.

Ana gets a cleanse on her darts, she has a 2s stun clear as a result. In fact of most heroes you could mention, Ana is most primed to stop him; sleep dart the charge so he lands and then takes a nap, hit a Q after, your pal just ate the damage carte blanche and now you either have a set up or an escape.
Blinds annul most of his damage. Cassia has a blind on being CCd. Li Li doesn’t have to stop moving to use hers. It’s just how efficiently blinds ruin his output…

Most butchers counter themselves anyway by not playing smart or safe, instead being greedy for every piece of meat, ignoring soak and not watching minimap.
Throwing a dart as Ana or blind as Cassia right before impact sure is possible, if even Kael players manage to throw a stun in the air right before he stuns them.
I haven’t done it, but I wont be surprised when/if I ever see it. Takes a decent player to pull it off though. (Has to connect the instant Butcher’s Unstoppable expires).

You forgot another thing for Ana. Her grenade 0s butchers self heal, and that works through unstoppable so she can even use it when she gets charged, not that butcher should ever get in range of Ana.
Most heroes who can punish Butcher do it multiple ways, which is funny because usually just one of them will do.
It wouldn’t be such an issue if he were less boom-bust.
The joke is on you, if you take Furnace Blast, which is like Pyroblast on steroids, you basically have one. Nothing more satisfying than sitting in a bush when enemy passes by unaware and charging like molten hot meat missile into their exposed rear and give them the pounding of their lives, ending in an explosive climax.
Sorry to inform you of this, but Butcher is only good against bad players and bad team comps. Against anyone with skill and enough game knowledge, he is dog water. Extremely predictable and even easier to counter. You must be a QM hero. Butcher, like Nova dominates against new players, bad players and unorganized chaotic games like QM. He is barely worth half a hero till he gets stacks, and even if he does, there are many other heroes who do what he does even better. Like Zeratul, QHira and Valeera. Only thing is they have escapes and not reliant on an all-in and are just as powerful if not more without stacking.
As someone who only plays Quick Match - you don’t need a tank, a teamcomp, a blind, or anything fancy to counter The Butcher. That’s just the myriad of ways to counter him after he’s fed. Here’s how you actually counter The Butcher:
Whenever you don’t see The Butcher on the map, say to yourself “If The Butcher was going to charge me right now, could I get away?”. If the answer is no, you’re out of position.
You counter The Butcher by not feeding. If that means giving up some lane pressure, so be it. You don’t have to push, you can just soak minion waves from a safe position.

But thats a pretty big advantage Butch has just by existing. Absent counters, Butch can dive you from almost the other side of the screen, even if you are standing next to your towers. If he has lambs up… you’re already dead. The worst thing that will happen to him is a 1-for-1 trade.
I agree with the counters listed in this thread. I just hate Butch’s design of being a game-breaker or irrelevant. In QM he is a late-game wrecking ball. Hes ruined many of QM matches of mine. 
The entire basis of your post revolved around, “Well it’s QM soooooo…”. Implying i should try other modes. And that’s not gonna happen.
Reading is hard. This is the sentence immediately after that.
Not once was switching to another game mode mentioned.
Why take advice when you can just throw a fit, though?
You could always play as a character that can’t be stunned by his Charge and Hitching Post.

Did I give you a few strategies in order to win vs the butcher? Yes, I did.
However, facing this problem is going to be obvious if you play in QM, which is why one of those strategies is to use a hero with blind or stun (there are a lot) on days where you get a lot of games vs/with butchers.
Now. Read my post again and tell me. When did I say you should play another mode?

Yes and the match-making is sketchy, allegedly BECAUSE of QM. Implying in the end, that maybe i should look into other modes.
I know reading between the lines is difficult and you need everything s-p-e-l-l-e-d out for you but, please try to keep up.

You counter The Butcher by not sucking at the game. If you don’t want to change the way you play in order to not lose, that’s not The Butcher’s fault, that’s not Blizzard’s fault, and it’s certainly not Quick Match’s fault. It ain’t no one but yours.
