I’m in the same boat as you. I would actually like this as well.
I know I should play unlocked but I like not having to worry about my positioning. I find having a locked camera I can dodge skill shots while focusing on the enemy, my team mates, make shot calls and the minimap but isn’t as good avoid ganks.
I can actually play both ways and change for different heroes but definately prefer locked. I like the space bar for focusing on my hero but I couldn’t hold that down for a serious team fight. I was thinking of changing the L keybind to something closer (maybe space bar but then I would loose the ability to highlight my character in a team fight if needed) but I don’t know if that would help. I normally just click on the minimap when I need to unlock the screen but as soon as you run into that spot it locks it again.
