I’ve noticed an issue with Kerrigan’s Ultralisk when ability power is increased. When an ability power buff is active, the Ultralisk’s initial strike (when it charges at an enemy) always deals its base damage, ignoring the increased ability power.
Additional observations:
- If you take the level 16 talent, which increases ability power by 35% after dealing damage with a heroic ability, all of Ultralisk’s auto-attacks are always increased.
- The first attack of the Ultralisk should not deal increased damage if the ability power buff has already expired (e.g., after 5 seconds).
- Comparing this to the other heroic ability (Maelstrom), its first tick of damage is not increased, but if the level 16 talent is active, subsequent ability damage is correctly enhanced. However, Ultralisk’s auto-attacks are always increased, even if the buff has already expired.
