Bug parry Varian

There is a bug that Lunara cannot apply her venom to Varian while he has his active parry, however, she can apply the venom Genji with his deflect and to Medivh with his W, why is this? Just like Illidan or another hero with sustain / reduction of CD through basic attacks cannot heal or reduce their CDs while attacking Varian with his parry.
This happens either with or without the “Shield Wall” upgrade to level 10.
Varian is the only hero with a “protected” state with which this happens

Their is tracking in for this.

I can get a more detailed explanation in about 10 hours.

How I miss the option of “blocking” as in the old forums.

can you use you q to apply the venom still? cause AA doesnt affect varian with Parry up

Lovely, I give you an answer and it ends up being falsely reported.

Was the trolling part where I said it was tracked, or said that I could get more information?

Anyhow, currently it’s functionality is that it functions as evasion, which was a change made on purpose.

Currently there are also differences with what Parry and Shield Wall block.

From Hunningcord:

The confusing terminology that is used internall doesn’t help…
“on hit” (abilities) should be triggering, but on-impact (attacks) should not be.
(the above is my understanding of a confusing topic. I may have misunderstood the information).

So it shouldn’t apply because the attack is effectively being evaded.

UPHMindHawk did some basic testing:

Ah, yes, and to answer the relevant question:

It is currently not considered a bug. Although tooltips may be updated. That call was passed on.

I was reading your comment and then it got flagged, It was strange.

This second time when someone gets flagged for nothing.

feels like someone is doing it from multiple accounts.

Yeah.

You in another thread of me threatened to report me by incorrectly citing the texts un spanish. And as I saw that a report came to me, so i said why I can not have a little fun also reporting your comment? And look at this … Oh, it doesn’t appear to me anymore.

But the case is why it marks the annulled damage as “blocked” and not “dodged”? Really those kinds of details are annoying.

Same thanks for the information.

HAHAHA WHICH COUSIN ??? THAT ***** IS NOTHING FROM ME

The reporter is this “Oxton” who spams every thread with “marry ugu” and spanish nonsense, it is either a mental nutjob or a pure troll

I have not put that up very often …

I only put that with Gishki … Ok? He and I are friends and we both speak Spanish.
EDIT: You look like multi-accounts …

Long time? Even in Butcher thread 1 day ago…

:grimacing:

I leave it in the air (?
Anyway, there is no word that is worth a multi-account … What a pity you really give! Having to publish in an account with 0 publications (Because you are so coward to do it in your original) then you resort to going into false accounts to fill your mental emptiness. but hey, I prefer to speak Spanish than to be a multi-account seeking attention and then you will report my comment because you can not stand it.

Forums are really dumb in this perspective. You did nothing wrong

What?
I have never reported anyone on the forum, lmao. And I rarely post on the forum. It is just inevitable to find your posts on almost every new topic with that same phrase.

It is the Auriel poster who did it.

Are you guys into Cluedo?

I dont want to accuse someone so ill stay out of this one!

Parry denies any AA damage. It is kind of a dodge. Shield wall, deflect and medivh’s W are just “infinite shields”. The enemy will still do damage to you, but you have infinite shields so you don’t lose hp. You can see this same interaction with heroes that heal on AA/abilities, like Butcher. Butcher can still heal when hitting shield wall, deflect, etc…

Basically parry makes you miss your AA.

It’s worse, since it eats charges and puts abilities on cooldown. It’s part of why I don’t play Maiev; Umbral Bind goes on a full cooldown if it doesn’t connect. Previously, abilities like that would just pause activation until the next valid hit, but those days are gone. ;(

This is one of the reasons Qhira and Illidan are extremely frustrating to play against.

Parry denies enemy AA, Lunara needs her AA to apply her dot (or her Q). So Parry denying Lunara dot via AA is not a bug and false reporting is not cool.
