I have not been a fan of the Stitches rework. I feel like he dies a lot faster, the decreased range on his hook but keeping the same cooldown doesn’t feel as fun, and most of all, I miss my Wretchling friend at level 13.
Wretchling has aided me in many battles, and when paired with the talent that reduces Devour Cooldown if it kills an enemy was so fun on maps like Infernal Shrine cause you could make a little army of them and they would just hang out around you as you killed creeps.
How does everyone else feel about the Stitches rework? Does anybody else miss Wretchling as much as I do?
Habit is a crutch that slowly eats at skill.

Well I say repetition breeds excellence.
So practice the current Stitches then.
Back line stitches was always bad. New rework encourages playing him properly.

I agree with that, but why did the Wretchling have to go?
Oh, that I’m not sure of. I actually thought he was really useful against certain heroes since he blocked skill shots.
Lvl 13 is now a talent tier that provides utility. Armor reduction, damage reduction or AoE damage. You have an option vs hypercarry or if you are comboing a single target.
What if Wretchling was a quest reward for the level 1 regen talent on bite? Similar to how the globe talent scales up to infinity even though the movespeed has a cap.

I liked the little wretchling talent, but stitches rework was amazing for him. losing range on Q hurts but his talent tree became amazing, and you can get back the full range at level 16.
