The enemy comp is…interesting. Make your predictions.
It’s like they mixed up two different team comps from watching pro replays.
I guess early valla can sit the solo lane, and then genji can just be annoying with the double heals and pick on Ktz.
If they had anduin, that’d help, but getting that picked away really messed with them.
Otherwise, they’d probably need to sub one of their dps for falstad or ETC to have the lane-roaming potential, but with added cc and waveclear to boot.
They actually sent Valla + Morales top. So they were 3 vs 4 almost the entire time bot.
We should have won easily, but our KTZ was on his 2 ever game with the hero (Lvl 131, not a smurf) Every Leap of faith counted. We came really close to losing though.
On paper an EZ win for the blue team.
I’d have probably sent deckard top because he has a better chance of locking something down for a kill. But yea its a terrible comp. Genji just cannot do enough damage to be in a 3man.
Overall, this match tends to favor the blue team, early game is tough time for the red team due to lack of reliable dmg for poke/fast burst and better play conservatively to make lanes in stalemate at best or got their lanes gradually pushed at worst.
Depends on skill on players and how they decide to lane though, if Artanis was at top, then I’d send Deckard who build himself toward aggressive/TF /AOE talents at top coz he’s st least can deal with minion wave bettet, safer and faster than Genji, or send them both to try to win/push top lane, less body to chain at bot, an kite and sustain against early game Artanis well enough, bot lane would just endure and minimize any damage done to allies and structures.
But at mid game Morales with Medivac, if well timing play could probably turn the tide of the game by being faster to gank and rotate, avoiding full TF if possible.
Blue team should constantly pressure each lane along with merc since red team can’t clear lane fast, Junk and Ktz would collapse structure in no time and find opportunity for good engages to pressure them even more.
Can’t say much, it’d be too long to read😵
Morales went Stimdrone and mostly targetted Valla. I don’t know about Medevac since you get a pretty early warning that they’re coming and the map is fairly small.
It depends on when they choose to board and where they land which could be in blind spot, at narrow passage nearby the capture point for example to catch Artanis by surprise.
Ideally if a laner know they should position themself on the safe side all the time to prevent being ganked, then flying to gank would be less effective but there’s an option to summon a laner to come for a 5 v 4 from top by pre-cast Medivac or from the base, the point is red team prefer to win a point first while blue team is better at holding 2 points at the same time.
Picking Stim to mostly target Valla is too high of a bet, if she’s bad/not good enough, the stim would be a lot less useful for other allies, again it all comes down to player skill on both sides, imo
What I mean is, you get a notification that Medevac is being used, and you’d know where they are before they use it, so the only place they can go is in the opposite lane. The minute you get the warning, you peace out.
Ive made some really good experiences with these 2-3 tactics on braxis when playing (as morales) with my brother who really knows how to play an aggressive aa build valla. What happened was that they would be forced to send one or even two players top to help, and then were still getting pushed away slowly, because… Who could compete against a competent valla-morales duo? Noone can.
I wouldnt recommend a genji into this comp, because the way it should be played imo is not by getting kills from a ganking genji, no, its about the pure fact that a good morales-valla duo cannot be beaten by any other duo on the lane. Valla morales can even mostly hold up against three other heroes… So valla morales will just hold the obj point and the goal is to push faster than the 4 men opponent team does against your trio team on botlane. Therefore id recomment to have a safe depusher on your trio team like azmo, junkrat, nazeebo or zagara who can slow down enemy push efficiently with no risk (instead of genji).
