When the Brawl mode is not active (due to the new schedule), the Brawl screen fails to load properly upon the first visit of a new session. For approximately 10 seconds, the following visual glitches occur:
- A large, solid white square appears in the center of the screen.
- The “Weekly Rewards” and “Brawl Info” icons appear in the bottom left, even though they are not applicable when the mode is closed.
- The “Please Wait” button is visible but non functional.
After the delay, the screen eventually corrects itself to display the proper “unavailable” background and information.
Expected Behavior: The Brawl tab should immediately display the “mode unavailable” state without a white placeholder or irrelevant UI elements. If a loading period is necessary, it should use a standard loading animation or the default background instead of a white square.
Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Heroes of the Storm during a time when Brawl is closed (any day after the 5th of the month).
- Navigate to the Play tab.
- Click on the Brawl sub tab.
- Observe the center of the screen and the bottom left UI elements for the first 10 seconds.
- Wait for the screen to transition to its final, correct state.
