I haven’t got one in a full year. I’ve heard the drop rates were lowered by they feel downright mythical these days.
When was the last time anyone here has seen one?

Same here, haven’t had one in over 200 levels of boxes.

It’s probably been a year for me as well. The year before that I think I got 4 total including a 3 day and a 7 day boost, so it does seem like the rates have gone down.

Event lootboxes don’t give boosts. You can only roll free boosts in non-event lootboxes. Since starting from early 2019 or so we are constantly in one event or another it means your only chance of getting free boosts is via the hero specific chests you always earn when you reach level 10 with a hero.

Wow didn’t know that, Learn something new each day. And yes that does suck, I used to like getting a boost every now and then.,
i got a 3 day boost one time this year, and i play a lot. they’re rarer than legendary skins these days
You only get a chance for boosts once per every 10th hero level so that makes sense. I haven’t got any boosts myself because 80% of my lootchests came from farming event quests and those don’t give you any boosts (only non-event chests do).

They really don’t want you to have those free boosts now, given they are likely the most valuable loot available.
And yet I’m pretty sure there’s some kind of algorithm to seed boosted players into games so everyone gets 5% more and remembers boosts are thing that they can buy.
It’s hard to recall any games where there was not a single person with a boost.
