So For all the trolls and whiners that complain that blizzard doesn’t listen or care:

1. Matchmaking new category system and QM rules to make games more balanced.
2. Combined HL and TL to cut down on quetimes that will probably work not only in major regions but minor regions.

If they did listen to me they would remove UD and not waste time on any silly role rework. Pfft.

Can’t see how this is going to improve anything. The same old problem remains: ppl put into groups based on evening out mmr differences between the two teams and a lack of personal evaluation instead of team evaluation that slows down or obscures the progress to reach the individual skill level of mmr.

Actually, it means no more averages.

Instead of matching you based on MMR, you’re matched based on your league. There’s no need to average MMR like that.

Not at all, If you spend anytime in this forum (and I have been here for 3 years) you know all the common trope topic “Waaaa blizzo doesn’t listen to us”

This is proof to those who frequently rant about blizzard not being responsive or caring or lazy or incompetent or stupid that yes you’ve been heard yes blizzard does care about your concerns, and that while they aren’t always as fast as you like, they are here and they hear. So agreeing or disagreeing with me doesn’t make you a troll, constantly posting the same incorrect crap that Blizzard doesn’t care or listen makes you a troll and here is my proof of it.

Can only be good, QM is horrible right now. However if they keep the OP heroes OP for ages this won`t help too much. Think about Falstad vs release Fenix/rework Raynor powerlevelwise for example
-> Better but unless we get something to lessen the powergap it wont help much

Good for smaller regions, Im overall sceptical. Duo/MulitQ was removed from HL for a reason, now its back and I guess if you opt out of it, your waittimes will be horrible

Well we always had MMR behind everything. So my guess is that this doesn`t change much. Boosted masters will remain boosted. On top of that you can now boost yourself with good teammates (again)… So matchquality is bound to get worse unless they do something about it (if they reset everyone, quality will be horrible for a long time, if they dont, you keep the wrongly rated players everywhere)

Thats what I`m most curious about. Forts/Keeps not giving exp+reduced towerexp will change the game by a lot. Might really help to keep the games closer for a longer timeperiod (some objectives kinda give a 1.5-2 level lead and from there on you never see an objective on the same talenttier again)

Remember too, that many of these changes were announced this time last year and were not implemented. So fingers crossed this time round.

Yeah this is the more important question at hand. What is the actual timeline of these potential changes? They only said coming 2019 but we all know how that tends to have panned out in the past… We do have a new director on board so let us hope he’ll be more capable to implementing these.

I wondered the same. Yesterday I saw a high Master HL player who was ranked only silver in TL. I would image there is a big variance in a case like that.

They glossed over things in the first panel then spent and ENTIRE HOUR in the next panel on Orphea… a hero no one asked for. The Q & A session was about 1 minute 30 seconds then they ran out of time… amazing.

I expected more in depth details about their terrible game experience (and skill based matchmaking) but no… not a peep about it.

So comical. So sad.
