Whatā€™s disappointing about the whole thing is how they still have both the talented art designers and programmers, yet this endeavor ended up being the most ā€œcreativeā€ thing they could come up with, apart from OW2, which is nothing more than slightly bigger patch to the basic game.

I saw the trailer on Azmongolds channel. He called the devs cringe for acting like 10 year old kids over a nw mobile game that will properly disappoint. So much hype over a game that has not even been released yet.

And it will properly be a P2W game.

I know people who play tested it and they said itā€™s extremely fun and addicting. Honestly Iā€™m hyped for it, game looks fun and the art is very cute, I love it.

And OW2 already lost 99% of its viewers on twitch lmao.

The artstyle is very cute and appealing, but Iā€™m not at all interested in the gameplay.

Taliesin is so much better imo. He defended them and said he likes their enthusiasm.

Game looks nice. But I rarely like the genre and if I do, not for long.

It might sound harsh, but youā€™re now throwing corporate sellouts and personality streamers in the same basket. The first is a part of crowd that gets to decide is a game will end up being successful and the other one will welcome just about anything that gets thrown at them.

Do I hate the game or not, doesnā€™t matter that much when itā€™s cheap and free content that generates clicks. Iā€™m just disappointed that no one had the audacity to risk their relationship with the company by saying; thanks but this isnā€™t my cup of tea, please care to extend the same offer to someone more passionable, youā€™ll attract less eyes but all of it will appear genuine rather than feigned.

Personally I hate the practice of loot boxes, especially in a product for which a person in their mid thirties isnā€™t the target audience (for minors obviously). I would very much like to see it fail so they abandon this predatory and hated practice.

going to be very hard for that to be the case. Just about every major IP or known company has some sort of gacha game now and they probably trump main-series sales. New releases may just be a means to fuel the ā€˜waifuā€™ releases for these type of games.

I mind 25 EUR mount purchases in wow less than the fact that in hots you need to buy gems first in order to buy a cosmetic. Literally overpaying so I would be left with pocket change and possibly get encouraged to spend again because the currency perfectly ā€œrounds upā€ next time.

I donā€™t like lootboxes either, but I rather see this game be a huge success and a big cash grab so they can fund their main games, maybe even invest in hots more.

Mobile games are always pay to win so no thanks.

I really donā€™t care what streamers or influencers Iā€™ve barely heard of have to say about things.

Iā€™ll probably give it a shot, because the mobile game market is so full of unplayable trash, itā€™s practically impossible for it to not be better than most of the stuff on there.
Hot take? It looks like a handful of flash games I played like 12 years ago on kongregate, or maybe some Starcraft Broodwar custom games.
But more polished.
And probably pay to win.
So I donā€™t expect it to be the greatest.

Slice & Dice, might not be everyoneā€™s cup of tea (dice determined turn based battles) but I think itā€™s decent.
I appreciate the devs for not having a cash shop or ads.
The demo is a fair enough portion of the game, itā€™s an offline playable game which is helpful sometimes.
I ended up paying for the full thing, because it was entertaining enough and cheap enough and there needs to be more support for mobile devs that want to make real games.

This is the way.

this game is literally Clash Royale with a singleplayer campaign and blizzard branding.

Iā€™m more excited for Diablo Immortal even.

It looks decent, I just hope its not P2W. Otherwise I would rather it is an ok game than a wasted game like W3:R.
