Blessing of the Bronze - Additive or Multiplicative?

Probably a very dumb question but has anyone tested this?

If someone get Nanoboosted (150% charge rate) added on the default charge rate (100%) and have this talent on effect (30%) does it mean they charge cool downs 280% faster additive-ly or 325% faster multiplicative-ly?

Additive is considered default and I would be amazed if they made it multiplicative (which is rather an exception).

PS - I dont think it matters in this case, but buffs of not add/mult, the abilities are.

99.9% sure it’s additive.

Most likely scenario involving multiple CDR stackings:

Chromie BotB + Malfurion Innervate

which is honestly insane just additive-ly at 30%+50%, esp. considering the pre-existing synergy between Malf+Chromie (roooooots). Just have to figure out some heroes that would benefit with that amount of regular CDR + synergize with the team and it sounds like a good time

I wish I was Bronze so I could be #Blessed.

PS, I don’t know, I just saw an opportunity for an epic dad level joke.

Chromie’s 18 + Malf D + Ana Nanoboost + Medivh spell power.

Now just use everything on Jaina with Icy Veins + Wintermute

Nonononono, please continue on.

You say no, but what you really mean is yes. #winkieface

Maybe this answers the question. Movement speed does not stack. Only the highest value is considered.

EDIT: Ooof, I only read half the the talent.

From what I see online, CDR stacks, it’s not multiplicative, it’s additive.

and then watch how an anub arak cocoons your buffed jaina and the team wipes because they have no tank (?

Assuming a team assumed Jaina would be cocooned during this, they could just be ready to break it after popping everything on her. In the space of two autoattacks it should probably be down, as you’ve got rapid instances of damage coming from Ana AA + Shrike ticks + 1 Moonfire + Malf AA + up to 3 Q’s from Chromie’s clones, Chromie AA + Medivh AA + Ley Line / Poly to counter/disengage while Cocoon is broken.

Remember that Medivh doesn’t care about the way the game is played, he plays his own game. He thinks with portals

Using all that when the enemy has a counter like that lmao.

Gotta know when to pick your battles  Plus tankless comps work really really well even in the highest level of play, you just gotta know how to do play it.

Something like CDR stacking multiplicatively would easily be busted (so that’s probably how it works :stuck_out_tongue: )

I imagine it stacks additively, and then at some point in the future they’ll change it to not stack, just like it happened with slows, move speed buffs, and now armor. (does healing prevention/healing increase stack?)

I don’t think anything in hots stacks multiplicatively. Aside from possibly darnassian archery not sure about that

Most of Li-Ming’s spell power is multi than additive.

Pretty sure there’s other things that stack multiplicatively.

After several test on PTR I found the formula:

CDR = HIĂ—(Dmin+Dmax2+PĂ—CP)Ă—(1+BĂ—SC)Ă—(1+HA)/T

where HI is the spell hit percent, D is the base damage, P is spell power, CP is the spell power coefficient, B is the critical damage bonus, SC is the critical strike percent, HA is the spell haste percent, and T is the base casting time.

the only time you use multiplication is when its something that they cant restrict, such as multplying damage per hit times attack speed. if you take a butcher that is fully stacked and give it a stim drone morales… well you multply the attack speed increase by the per attack damage.

other than that, i dont believe anything stacks.

Gul’dan has a really odd single talent that stacks multiplicative by itself [sometimes] , although that might be a bug… it has been submitted to HotS team as a bug.
