Best counters to meta strategies?

You mention this heroes, but not the ones that synergies well with him to be more effective like Tracer, Zera or Sam? Or is it just wrong to go push build with synergy picks?

Tracer is a late game with her Pulse Bomb that scales at 6%. Att speed doesn’t synergize well with her because of her reload time.
Zeratul comes online at lvl 16.
Samuro is fine, but he doesn’t have as much wave clear as Fenix in the early game.
You said split push build for Abathur, implying alone that’s his Locust Strain build. It would be a different story with hat build paired with Samuro.

The bans can also hint at a potential Juice Pirates. Falstad is commonly banned now, so he isn’t as much of a tell, but a Zeratul ban can hint at a JP in the making. Void Prison is one of the counters to that strat, as it will freeze the building, giving his team time to get there to wipe them before they can get much damage in.

I have seen JP drafted a few times in CCL and Master’s Clash, and I can’t remember seeing it work as people at that level of skill know how to prevent it.

Edit: The key to the Medivh comp is having a map where you can place the portals without being spotted on the way, and something that can tank the fort for a while. We used a beetle build Anub for that as he can tank it pretty much from level 1. The other key is to take down the keep first, as that is even more unexpected than attacking a fort. Hanamura is a fun map to do this on as you can walk up to the keep, and save the portal to get the hell out of there when they back to stop you.
