Avoid teammates system

We seriously need it.
This game is FULL of trolls, and everyone of us feels frustrastring on losing time and points on match with this non-human beeing.

Use the whisper trick to avoid specific players. If you /w that player after the match (don’t actually type anything, just open a whisper), you can then see their status from the chat window. Wait until they find a match before queuing again. While it isn’t the best solution, it is effective.

No, the reasons have been explained for years and Overwatch avoid system failed and got removed due to abuse (though there you could also blacklist enemies, which led to top players all being blacklisted by other players)

What would happen is people blacklisting non-trolling teammates who just aren’t good at the game.

And just like that, you could curate a list of easy targets you want to see on the opponents side to farm and kill with low effort.

Waiting until they start a new match with /w is the perfect solution.

True, that should be the matchmaking’s job to put them in a separate match…as opposed to 80% of games being decided by who has more players farming deaths. Sometimes I wonder how they enjoy the game.

it’s since been re-added.

The list now ‘deprioritizes’ being matched as an ally with the selected player, so it avoids some off the mmr hurdles at lower ranks, and doesn’t prevent matching at higher ones.

I think, but don’t have a specific example atm, that some games have added similar systems, but it’s on a timer so players might avoid someone for a given session, rather than ‘never see them again’.

If you want to avoid someone then you’re never going to find out whether you’re better or worse than them and in my opinion that is a type of match fixing and you should probably stick to matches which do not count to a leaderboard and are not tracked but in my opinion that is a waste of time and you shouldn’t exist.

Imagine they actually implement it, and then boom! The game has no more GM games, everyone in GM hate each other, so the game cant find players to fill a lobby XD.

The lobby screen should actually be called the lobby screen, I didn’t even think of that.

I keep thinking it’s called the draft screen or something but maybe both screens should exist, I don’t actually know the difference.

When someone goes 11+ deaths more than their kills, the match should just say “oops, we rainbowed too hard” and return everyone to lobby.

Better yet, make the 11 death (troll or not) take the brunt of the MMR or rank point loss instead of also penalizing the 4 other players whose only offense was being unlucky enough to be matched with that player.

Though to ensure people don’t abuse this to save their premade some points if they’re obviously losing, discard all loss forgiveness if the feeder was in a party (for the party members).

Loss forgiveness is ultimately just number tweaks in the rank point/mmr calculation. The remaining legacy dev can definitely pull this off and make it fair.

This could work too. I don’t see how it could have much (if any) false positives either (it could very well be implemented above bronze, so it doesn’t glitch out with multiple feeders.

11 deaths guarantees about 2-3 levels of xp to the other team in my experience. That’s besides all teamfights being 4 vs 5. It’s not how the devs intended the game to be.

Like in dota 2? it would be a great idea . Dota 2 is even good at punishing trolls with the behavior system . if you troll too much , you get a very low behavior score and you can’t play ranked and finally u get banned .
