So other than blocking is there nothing to do to avoid a person. Reported and blocked they were in my next game. ! game with out them then they were in my next two. Is hots really the only game that wont let you avoid a player?
Blocking only blocks you from seeing their chat and âavoidingâ would create
matchmaking issues in a game with a population this small.
But Iâd like an option to avoid 1 person (that being the absolute maximum) for 15 minutes (or 1 hour, that is debatable or adjustable). Thatâd give plenty of time to requeue worry free into the next match without having to deal with that player.
You can avoid them even now, but it requires you to open a whisper tab with that player then waiting until their status changes to âin gameâ or âofflineâ. Itâs a bit of a hassle and waste of 5 or more minutes.
Exactly, even just 1 person a day would be nice, get away from their elo. This dude is a full on troll just feeding and loling.
I know the player type you mean, unfortunately for now the only real way to avoid them is waiting until they requeue or log out.
You can see that by /w:ing the trolls name after a match. Donât press Ready again until they have gone offline or started another match. Then theyâre someone elses headache and will get reported by additional people.
We asked a lot for this feature back when the game first came out and the population was much bigger. It ainât happeninâ now, bud.
When people do have that function, they block people that they lost against. And before you know it, everyoneâs block list is huge and queue times go up.
This forum see more good bye threads or why cant we block spesifik olayers threads?
I had an experience last season where I was repetitively matched with the same player multiple times over the course of several weeks, and each time he saw me, he would ban all my mains during hero select, and then pick the one he could not ban for himself, AND THEN go with a meme build (ei: laser-build on Azmo).
This was probably 15-18 games in total. After every game I would report him because this was a player who COULD NOT keep his mouth shut when he was losing, and would become the most toxic and abusive so-and-so that he could. It got so bad, I stopped playing ranked entirely for the season because I just did not want to deal with him.
What would be ideal is an option to TOTALLY avoid this person FOREVER.
