Extra tips you should follow:
- Never type in Team Chat
- Never type in Draft Team Chat
- Only use party or whisper chat to talk with those who are friends with you and avoid using any profane words
If you type nothing in Team and Draft Team Chat the report system will discard any Abusive Chat reports against you

A lot of people I know would prefer it compared to a permanent ban yes
The key to avoid being silenced is always be a nice dude.

I have never been silenced myself but I see people constantly complaining about being silenced despite saying nothing bad at all
You promised this when we were playing.
I love it especially the wonderful song.

I don’t type a lot but I have told people to git gud or to play vs AI before and nothing bad have ever happened to me. I just don’t use offesive words, I just type “I recomend to play vs AI” or “it was not fault of the mm, you need to improve your game”.

Well this is a foolproof guide for those who complain about getting silences despite saying nothing wrong
As far as I know, this guide will help someone avoid silence penalty on their account 100% of the time
Great tips, I’ll use these whenever I can and that Rickroll 10/10

That’s horrible that people are silenced for no reason.
Although it should be used when nessecary.
I had an ARAM match where I was dying a lot because of human mistakes and a player whipped out death threats.
I reported him after though.
I’ve got a secret as a person who has been playing since the 2nd week or so of the Alpha and has never been silenced/banned. Don’t be a jerk to other people.
It’s actually the secret to success in other facets of life as well.

As it must be
These League of Legends players must be rooted out!

all you gotta do is have 2 accounts that you switch between every day. you’ll never have enough reports built up to silence/ban you if you do this, unless you’re the biggest jerk in the world i suppose
It doesn’t matter how pleasant you are in chat or if you even mute chat, if you play vs a team that includes Alarak and/or Stukov you’re pretty much guaranteed to get silenced. The game’s silence system is very rigged and unfair.

Those people are probably <1% of their silenced.
Some people will call people “idiot noobs” and say that is nothing wrong.
They can think that, but their opinion would be wrong.
For the record, I’ve not been silenced which still shocks me.

nope with enough reports and a system that doesnt monitor you can get silenced for simply getting reported for feeding
lol
best to avoid chat all together
people will abuse report you for pings /because you died to much because you didnt build a certain way doesnt matter system will ignore you if you say nothing
no one in this game has anything decent to say 9 times out of 10 anyway
what sad is i use party chat with my friends and im worried blizz will flag me even if i never say anythin to anyone outside my friend chat
we dont say stupdi crap but we do swear i shouldnt have to worry about that in a private chat with friends lmao
Basically that’s it these days with kids playing online games and game companies like Blizzard who think they will make more money from casual weekend gamers than from core gamers and heavily pamper those. It’s sad that you have to turn off chat in a multiplayer team game because Blizzard has a loose finger on the suspension and ban button.
The only person I’ve seen unfairly silenced is Grubby because he was mass targeted to prevent him from playing in Hero League / Storm League.
Usually, 99% of the time someone makes a post complaining about getting silenced about 3 to 4 responses in they make a clear cut case for why they should be silenced just by how they treat people in the forums.
Really, there is no grand secret, just don’t be a jerk to people and you’ll be fine. Unless you have the notoriety of someone like Grubby, you’re not going to get unfairly silenced.

Theres no real point in saying anything in chat anyway. At least in the low mmr games. 99% its just empty banter and not actually helpful with team coordination. Just good for glhf and gg.
