As a Healer, what is the most annoying teammate ability?

I did when i was malf! D:

I thought it would be nice that she gets healing based on how many enemy heroes are near you.
like no enemies you get borderline what muradins got going on and it decreases as more enemies get close.
think if she’s not surrounded she’s got the equivalent of 3 full doses and then goes down to maybe one full dosage.

also I do think her darts could do with a small increase by the time you get to lv 13 for the cleanse talents it’s doing around 350-odd while assassins are on average around 500 burst (I thinking about divers like Jaina or nova snipes and hungering arrow)

Heroes with energy based resources, like Junkrat, drive me to distraction when I’m healing them to full so they can remain in the fight, and they won’t cancel their hearth… just why?

Remember the days when Moralas had mana ?

This happens 100% of the time I used the ability. So I just don’t bother anymore.

I think you mean five cats , who had coffee

And people wasted it on random grenade spams? Yeah.

Think we should bring that back tbh. Getting real tired of endless grenade spam.

This will also happen with Auriel’s Resurrect as well. Teammate dies and apparently immediately got up from their computer to throw a hot pocket in the microwave or something, ‘cause they just stand there once they’re alive again.

At least with Medivh’s Portal, you can sometimes predict where your tunnel-vision teammate is about the right-click. Bonus points if they are visibly confused or type “wait what” afterward.

Seems a bit dramatic. As a Morales enthusiast who almost always picks medivac, my failure rate is around 30%, which is still pretty high. It enrages me every time lol. But the cooldown is so low now, it rarely matters.

Using clemency on a Single Artanis, is a bad play, no matter if he dashes out of Range or not.
You always want to get max value out of your healing. Thats why you would apply a „q“ on artanis and use „w“ on a Enemy. This will heal artanis for the exact same amount, but also do dmg on an enemie and slowing him as well. This doesnt even require artanis to be somewhere near you. He will get the heal on matter where he is on the mal, as Long as he has your „q“ applied.

Even more value can be generated if artanis is not the only one with your „q“ applied.

Sorry I dont know the namens of the abilities.

you’re not wrong but you have an odd way of expressing it

Genjis zooming off in the backline without killing anything. I had this happen as Morales recently. They went so far into the bot backline that I’d need a satellite phone just to get into contact with them.

Bonus points if I was in the process of healing them when they yeeted themselves beyond the edge of my screen.

It’s the one where they intentionally move around my potions sitting motionless on the ground even though I threw them right in their intended path.

Revolving Sweep?

Sounds like a Deckard Pain.

To be more serious though, I never worry that much when I’m playing Cain. I’m just too used to playing Diablo 3 I guess. If I don’t pick up potions on the ground, that’s my fault. That mentality transfers over to HotS for me.

It’s like: The healing is literally over there. If you run all the way across the map, you will not have the healing. I didn’t put the healing across the map. You consented to the risk when you right-clicked away from my potions.

The only actual frustration I sometimes have when playing Cain is the teammate at 99% HP taking a potion a 33% HP teammate was clearly going for. At that point, I’ll more directly target them.

I don’t remember what revolving sweep does, but I was just being cheeky that players actively avoiding the pots with normal movement, is all.

That is pretty irritating…

I knew what you meant. I was also being cheeky by mentioning the one ability I know of that could cause your teammate to literally circle around the stationary potion on the ground. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s that one move Qhira does. You know the one.

Haha. I know the one. It’s been a while.

Does the sweep happen to pick up pots if Qhira runs into them?

Mobility was already mentioned a lot, but what is most vexing is not only the missed shots, but everyone else noping out and i as the healer suddenly being at the front with no protection.

All the better from an Illidead that hunted to the other side to of the map and naturally died there 1vs5.

I remember that, was fun and made the old EoH actually somewhat usefull. In this case i definitely prefer the new one though, the buildup in dmg/heal is very nice when both sides have some melees.

Hearthing back when on 90% mana is not a necessity :anger:

I would imagine it’s for some unspoken/untyped/unpinged strategy I’m not aware of. Like maybe they’re timing taking a camp just before the objective or what-have-you, and they were going to hearth anyway and just happened to get heavily damaged a moment before they pressed B. I know that I as a healer can get tunnel-visioned too when I’m trying to prioritize 5 different health bars in 5 different positions and shifting “aggro levels” at once…Sometimes I’m just not lookin’ at the minimap.

But sometimes I imagine wrong, and they just have tunnel vision.

Fair point, of course.

Now you got me wondering which mana-dependent hero is the least dependent on said mana.

My first thought was Hanzo, since his W and E do not demand constant use (for different reasons) to get maximum effectiveness.

There’s also Probius, but that’s “cheating.”
