Armor changes question

Are you telling me the Tychus combo of Odin and relentless soldier to get 50 armor when stunned no longer works?

They are removing armor stacking from different sources (heroes). Mostly nerf to Yrel and Tyrande.

So will Odin still work with relentless soldier?

I can only guess, but I imo yes. I cant give you 100% confirmation tho.

On the other hand, releasing Orphea with self-stacking armor talent just to change it weeks later would make no sense.
Also the problem is creating comps with armor stacking. This alone makes me think there will be no collateral damage for Tychus for example.

Tbh these 2 talents are a must-pick for Tychus. It will be sad if they remove the synergy :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah Tychus kit already has anti synergy too lol

its gonna hurt alot of ppl. lt safe guard, yrel jump armor, uther in general, etc. the list can keep going on sadly we have to wait for the patch to drop and see how things play out. i can’t see blizz figuring out everthing to buff internally. they said it was for pro play where they knew how to stack armor, well the 98% other ppl are confused about the timings and are lucky to use it.

Blizzcon patch had buffed Uther armor to 20 or 25, cant remember :confused: I hope everyone know his armor doesnt stack right now till lvl20?

For starters, regular playerbase is months behind what is actually happening in the game. Secondly, and this is something pretty new, they implement preemptive change instead of putting out the fire later.
I wont blame them for both of these.

If there is one thing I know from this change, is that we are getting ton of changes for almost all heroes and how they work to compensate, basically it’s like the 5% support nerf gonna be all over again.

Tbh they didn’t say anything about self stacking armor… I hope it still works.

Hopefully self stacking works. But looking from a design standpoint, it could be a limiting factor to designing heroes that give out armor like briget or the many armor smiths in wow, or even to heroes that have internal armor like garrosh that have far more armor than his hp would allow but becomes significantly harder to burst down.

Ok, then it doesnt make any sense in the end lol. They will change barely released Determination (Orphea talent)? Unless they consider different talents of the same hero as different sources too. So weird :confused:

what about poor uther. with is tiny amount of armor. then if someone already has armor its like ‘mine is bigger than yours’.

makes me wonder though about if they are going to do something with his double stacking armor talent. also, if they might buff his armor back up.

They buffed his armor to 25 in the blizzcon version iirc.
