Anyone else having the same visual glitch?

it seems when I alt tab and come back the game is brighter but when I alt tab again it gets fixed BUT the background for the options is transparent as well as the CD icons are completely different, as in the icon stays as if it is not on CD but the circle timer stays, instead of the usual black icon with the circle filling up, it has thrown me off at times because I think I have stuff off CD when I don’t. the only way I see this is getting fixed is when I log off and re open heroes. anyone else having this issue?

I have the same problem, also the % amount of Volskaya obj is not displaying on the screen.

haven’t noticed that I also haven’t gotten that map in a while, also the victory screen is a lot less clouded on the edges and is much more transparent to

I’ve been getting some weird graphical quirks on my Mac lately, but my PC is fine.

One needs to post the specs for the systems they are running HotS on that are having graphic glitches.

Alt tabbing causing “brightness” changes is likely related to display calibration and display gamma. The in game gamma setting overrides the OS set display calibration and might not restore it properly. This is one of the reasons DAC LUT based gamma should not exist in game settings, with HDR implemented gamma being more appropriate (if one should even have a gamma setting at all…).

Gamma is an obsolete setting aimed at CRTs before sRGB response curves became the standard.

I’ve only experienced the brightness one in my laptop.

The ability cd glitch happens randomly on my aunt’s PC.

So far, I’ve yet to experience the worse bugs in this game.

thing is this has only started to happen recently, before this would never happen

and when the game starts every time i do or take dmg , area around my hero gets black.

The issue is that for most people this is not happening. For example I can play right now and not have any of the described graphic artefacts/bugs.

This means it is likely hardware/driver specific which is why you may need to create a technical support post about this and provide your dxdiag listing or Mac model with any hardware variances. Screenshots and video evidence of the artefacts/glitches might also help.

Everyone having graphic issues should do this. Of course only after making sure their graphic driver is up to date.
