not really. i have absolutely no interest in D:I as long as D4 is ACTUALLY in development…
I mean for Blizz to do something so unpopular and to get such backlash, and then to stick the advertisement right in front of our faces all after the fact, it’s kind of a demented joke on their part, no?

Advertisment of any new patch/expansion/game is always spammed on the launcher on all games’ tabs.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Destiny 2 have it done and they’re only Activision’s games not even Blizzard.
It was obvious that also Diablo: Immortal would have come this way. Nothing unexpected, afterall the company will not change its planning just because the US and EU players (that are not the target for the mobile game) are upset.
The backlash on their reputation has done much more damage to them and it will change something only if the game will not bring enough money.

The game may be considered “embarassing” but it will be advertised like any other one. I don’t see the issue there or why Blizzard should not do the regular marketing for D:I.

The Ad for Diablo Lite gave me a laugh, good luck to them.
are people seeing ads for diablo immortal, or are they seeing the ads for the switch pack, and then pretending its immortal cuz they didn’t bother to think through the difference.
I saw switch ads, and expected switch ads and those aren’t ads for D:I, so I am rather curious if its what you saw, and didn’t bother to check

I’m also curious too, all I have seen from Diablo are for the Nintendo Switch release.
As much as I hate seeing activision games I would never buy (though I guess having Destiny 2 for free now ain’t so bad) on the Blizz launcher…
At least I can play them.

Oh my gosh I’ve hated for YEARS seeing streamer faces on the blizz launcher. And then they gave one guy/girl a hero reveal or something? Disgusting/disturbing.

Don’t dis on the Switch! Take a step back OP, it could be a lot worse!
It’s way more triggering to see Destiny and CoD in my face when I open the launcher and in my emails then an ad for an actual Blizzard game on something as beloved as the Switch (atm).
CoD and Dest made me cringe. Twitch faces made me convulse. Diablo for switch is a bit embarrassing.
