Anduin guide - Community project

This is experiment about abilities of new discourse forums and the community itself.
I like to play Anduin so I choose him as a test subject. (I would like to learn more about him myself).
If this works, it could be the first step toward improving currently lacking guides for HotS.

Please only add/edit the content of this post if you are experienced (Anduin) players.
Please only edit the blockquote parts. (Add more if there aren’t any free ones).
If you are usure about your tip, post it the normal way and let others say their opinion.

Let’s hope the history page doesn’t brain fart and permanently become useless.

There’s this bug where it stops showing history pages and makes it completely bugged.

OP pls, save your thread in a txt file on your desktop, nobody can be trusted. Especially me.

yeah i agree hopefully trolls of the forums don’t ruin it as they ruined many other threads. and that’s all i don’t play anduin or even planning to so i can’t edit nothing on this but yeah goodluck with this!

Almost level 50 with Anduin so I’ll weigh in.

I go the same build every time and never deviate from it under any circumstance:

1: Bold strategy
4: Moral Compass (most important talent in his entire tree)
7: Blessed Recovery
10: Salvation
13: Enchant Boots
16: Lightwell
20: Varians legacy

The name of the game is to get as many procs of pursued by grace as possible (the talent included in bold strategy). Every time you deal damage, you’ll heal a nearby ally, meaning any talent that gives you extra instances of damage is immediately a winner.

Varian’s legacy is one of, if not THE most powerful healer 20 in the game. I skyrocket from 90k healing to well over 200k post 20 in just a few minutes. Every auto you deal will put a DoT on the enemy and every time that dot ticks, you’ll heal a nearby ally with pursued by grace. Spread your autos and get the dot rolling on all 5 enemies and your team will be quite literally indestructible.

Moral Compass is AMAZING for several reasons;

A) Provides extra instances of damage for pursued by grace.

B) Procs Renew from insanely long distances.

C) Increases the range of Anduin’s poke and kill finish by a decent amount.

D) Procs Varian’s legacy, allowing you to get two dots going at once on the enemy so you don’t have to manually auto them.

E) Reduces the cooldown of Lightwell substantially with a combination of all of the above. ( I get to use lightwell atleast once every 15-20 seconds with this build)

Lightwell is just bonkers. Not only does it have a super short CD with my build, but your ult pretty much just refreshes the cooldown for free, meaning you can pop a well, ult, then pop another one immediately after.

Just keep autoing when your abilities are on cooldown. You should never not be doing healing at any given time as Anduin has the most abundant pool of different healing sources of any healer I’ve seen. He has:

  1. Healing from Flash of Light
  2. Healing from Renew
  3. Healing from Pursued by Grace
  4. Healing from ult
  5. Healing from Lightwell
  6. Healing from 20 dot

Just an insane hero all around.

Oh just realized something that I forgot to mention.

In wikis, images are frowned upon, if you want everyone to edit the wiki you must not add direct links from none whitelisted sites nor images, this is because when None Trust Level 3 dwellers try to save the edit, they can’t because “there’s an image or a link that is not allowed”.
