I feel it could benefit from a 1-2 second cd. I don’t think it would make the hero op. Zuljin can be great but unfortunately it feels like he needs too many specific conditions to output his damage. These conditions feel mostly out of his control. Perhaps prevent him from casting the ability if he has a protected or invulnerable state.
FYI, Amani Rage reduces Zulboi’s health by 50% of his current health, then heals him for that much over 10 seconds, the idea being he gets more damage output at greater risk to himself on demand.
Just to clarify and make sure that isn’t a typo, but you want that on a 2 second cooldown?
It’s not a typo. Example: If you press once from full health, it goes to half, tick off 2 seconds, press it again losing ~30% health. There are several ways to tune the recovery time (following example): First being keeping it as it is, meaning recovery of 50% over 10 seconds overlapping with 30% over 10 seconds with a total of 12 seconds to recover. Second, the time stacks (70% over 20 seconds). Third, recovery time relative to health lost: if 50% is 10 seconds, 30% will take 6 seconds.
I’m not sure which option would be most balanced here but I think it’s good to have him output his damage on demand instead of circumstance. Other heroes decided to spend cooldown and zuljin can spend on health.
