Yeah, why not. I’m not doing anything today.
Why MurlocAggroB than MurlocAggroA
Do you find you face discrimination due to your murky portrait
Is the '100% of health as shields when respawning" ever useful? Logically it could be useful if you gotta octograb an assassin and the enemy is 5 assassins, but trying to create value out of that is difficult.
murlocaggrob is the name of the classic murloc sound effect in WoW. There probably is a murlocaggroa, but it’s not nearly as iconic (or fun to say).
Not at all. I wish I could use the Spooky Murky or Grunty portrait instead, though.
I think it’s a trap talent. You quickly lose the shield to random damage, and even Murky shouldn’t be looking to die. Even if you’re already dying a lot, it’s better to get a talent that allows you to stay alive. It’s okay with Big Tuna Kahuna, but I also think Big Tuna is a trap talent, so, yeah.
Oh NOW you reply

I was waiting to aggregate a couple questions first
Geeshwa! Gmrrrlr.
Favorite fish to consume.
Also do you think Murky will finally get his revenge on the nexus?
assigned murloc at birth? q:
Salmon. I’m not a big fish person, but I like salmon quite a bit. It’s the only fish I’ll eat without smothering in ketchup.
Also, this isn’t a fish, but I love shrimp.
Well, status quo is god unfortunately. One can only hope the next comic series is just Murky going around killing everyone, a-la Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe.
I’m looking at this question from every angle and I’m still trying to parse what it means. I’ve got a couple ideas, I guess:
- No, I’m actually human, not a fictional fish creature.
- I didn’t start as a Murky main. I picked up the guy kind of on a whim and happened to really like his playstyle. My username just sealed the deal.
- I wasn’t always MurlocAggroB. I started as GiantCrabAttack on some places, and later RabidCow. Most sites I have this name, however.
A man of a culture I see.
oh heh, it wasn’t meant to be a serious question, just a play on the phrase “assigned male at birth,” or AMAB
also GiantCrabAttack is a very fun name
What is a skin for Murky you have always wanted?
I agree, but I came up with that by combining three random words. It doesn’t have the same sentiment to me.
Between Grunty and Sir Murkalot, I feel like he has a strong selection already. If I have to pick, I’d probably like Spooky Ghost Murky, based off the portrait. It’s just Murky wearing a bed sheet.
Which hero(es) do you feel counter Murky the best, and which do you most dislike seeing on the enemy team? Which hero(es) do you feel complement him the best, and if you had the ideal draft for a good Murky map, like Cursed Hollow, what would it be?
I have really only seen Murky picked in ranked once, and we won, but I think that was more due to the enemy failing to respect the murloc than anything we did.

I will preface this a bit: I only play Quick Match. Take my words with a grain of salt.
Any sustained damage heroes, particularly AA ones. Generally Murky can mitigate burst damage either with better positioning or smart bubbles, but he really doesn’t have any tools to deal with sustained damage. It puts too much pressure on him.
- Raynor and Hammer are quite nasty since they massively outrange him, and can push him away if he tries to engage.
- Gul’dan has the self-healing and waveclear to win attrition battles. Easily the best mage against Murky.
- Illidan is the worst. He’s too mobile to escape from and does no burst, so there’s no good bubble time. Your only hope is luring him out of position, doing an Octo-grab combo, and praying he’s dead enough to finish with Slime.
Other dishonourable mentions are Twin Blades Varian, Valla, and Tracer. Similar to others listed, but more manageable.
Generally, Murky does his own thing. Any hero who can cover for him in teamfights or as he’s pushing are welcome, same as you’d protect any backliner. He has natural synergy with shields and anyone who can follow up on a big stun. All in all, he’d be pretty flexible if he didn’t have so many counters. As you said, Murky’s success comes from the opponents and Murky himself more than his team composition.
Only when he takes Super Healing Potion.
What do you think about Tassadar?
