Alt + <number> under one button is cool

Its self-cast btw.
While I was tinkering with HOTS settings looking for something resembling SC2 rapid fire and its potential use, I derailed right away and changed alternative alt + bind to middle mouse button.
Welp, I dont plan to change it back. Especially for Tyrande.
Smooth, easy, shift + self-cast is easier to do as well. Oh, and I dont spam my teammates with “need support” line (whatever it is exactly) while using alt + 1 lol.

Maybe someone will find it useful, feels great to me.

PS - ran out of mouse buttons, send help.

You inspired me, I now put my self cast heal to the “backmouse button” (The sidebutton on my mouse)

Also I find caps to be usefull as a extra button while playing . I have mute mic on caps because my little finger always hovers over the shift/capslock

Edit: I also have 2 buttons on the side

I use those for 1 and 2 (since my mouse got 2). 3rd goes for F except WJ.

That is… enough buttons to play SC2 without a keyboard! That’s 18 freaking buttons! granted two of them are for clicking, but still…

I actually just realized I got 2 more, which currently are used to control volume

LMB - A move
RMB - move
MMB - cleanse
1 - Q
2 - W
3 - E
4 - R

I’m now too accustomed to using ALT to self cast. I use LSHIFT to open the talent menu to combine with any number hotkey to select the correct talent.

Inspiring thread. As much as I would love to do the same, I cannot.
I need to travel frequently and for my laptop, I only take my small mouse with me (you know those: LMB, RMB, scroll wheel). It would mess with my brain too much. Bad enough that I have my spray on side buttons and cannot spray while on the road…

(I don’t know why I own the mouse I use, it could have 50 actions via pressing/holding/release/etc buttons and tilting can be set to do things also. but I only use like, 4 “extra” things (and a standard gaming mouse has that much stuff).)

If I ever feel like mapping it all I might take on your/the challenge also.

sounds like you just need to cut out some non-essential things like clothes to allow for a larger mouse!
