Is it worth it? I always have the rule 2x rerolls
And also does anyone know if you have rare loot boxes and you reroll it how the “rarity” works?
For me if I reroll rare loot boxes I get more often a legendary. But it can just be dumb luck

I generally only reroll if I am fishing for a boost (stimpack, whatever).
I only ever reroll if they’re all common duplicates. I have so many rare items, I’m not worried about trying to get a specific one. I’d just rather take my 15 extra shards.
I reroll if i dont get a skin or mount, and regardless of the outcome i only reroll once.
I have plenty of gold, i just hate loot boxes/gambling on principle so i only use the boxes i get for free. If it happens to be a hero specific box i might reroll a few times, just becuase it feelsbadman to get an emote/spray in one of those, though i dont think ive ever rerolled more the 2 times, not even sure if you can.
I reroll once only if I find 4 common, otherwise I always keep whatever may be inside the box. Having a nice deposit of gold allows to buy an Hero asap (if you’re interested in it, instead of waiting two weeks) plus all eventually gold-only items (announcers, mounts); now we also have Mastery Ring to dump our coins on. Duplicates get you shards to buy more skins, so they’re also ok.
Rerolling only worth it if you have enough gold to not care about it.

Depends on how often you have Loot Chest, I guess.
When I don’t play much I tend to receive only a few per week so I am more bold at spending on rerolls.
When you have multiple chests per day it’s recommended to only reroll once or not at all.
As for when to re-roll? Depends on what you want. In general I feel when you receive a mount, skin or new hero rerolling is a bad idea. They add variety so that’s great even if you hardly play said hero. In case you are farming shards though it’s the best to reroll until you get at least some shard value in duplicates. In case you are farming for shards to later buy a skin or mount you’d like you ignore stuff like new skins for heroes you don’t plan on playing since in your view it’s the same as getting a common, it doesn’t get you closer to your objective.
Another interesting topic is Loot Chests you buy. Since you acquire them through gold and you reroll with gold you can make a direct comparison. You acquire a loot chest for 3000 gold and you receive 1 set of rolls with that. If you re-roll you only spend 250g more while you receive 2 set of rolls. As such this is an unique case where even rerolling thrice is quite economical since it’s still much cheaper than buying a second chest. Of course this doesn’t mean you always should. Re-rolls are still a gamble and there’s no guarantee you get better stuff with them. So use it with caution. Still, in this scenario I think you are more justified to raise your standards.
…Not like buying loot chests with gold is the go-to idea to begin with, though.
I don’t do reroll. I simply opened the boxes and took whatever inside. I let RNG be RNG. I don’t gamble with luck. That’s how I’m happily having a healthy roster (near full, except those that I don’t like playing) and 20,000+ gold in stock.
My rull of thumb is if i dont get at least 2 things i reroll. Now if i get a cool skin or something.
2 rares or better on first opening i keep it. If all common or just 1 rare i’ll reroll.
and if you open a commen with 3x 5 shards and 1 unowned voice line?
anything below 50 shards I re-roll because the odds on getting 50 or better are pretty good.
unless i’m short on gold and something good is coming up.
I try to keep 30k gold in the bank because you never know when gold only mount or thing will come up and I don’t want to have to play my way to 40k gold.
I have no use for the majority of the crap in the loot boxes. If there’s not at least one mount or skin I reroll.
Depends on the voice line honestly. Sometimes I like it so much that I would keep it.
I usually reroll if everything is common or if the box doesnt gives me enough shard.
Usually if the box isnt anything fancy ill take it if it gives 50 shards .
I mostly roll boxes for shard to be honest xD
i will reroll my epic chests only, due to that my most recent epic chest gave me 1 purple and 2 legendaries
I almost never reroll, but that is just me.
Also if you get a legendary item, no matter what it is don’t reroll.
Legendary items come once in a blue moon.
