Bad teammates are why Abathur loses games most of the time, good Aba’s can carry good players but bad players slow it down alot, I’ll hope your the former and just have bad Aba’s.

Remember, the Abathur player is the one aware of what they can do, their CD on hat related stuff, etc.|

If you’re ignore the existence of your Abby or ignore his shotcalls, recommendations, strats, etc and you lose, it’s 100% your fault. idk what else to tell you besides you’re objectively wrong if you think ignoring teammates ISN’T your fault.

Shotcalls are not about being the most knowledgeable or just being better than everyone 100% of the time. often the difference between who wins and who loses is a clear strategy or shotcall that gets everyone on the same page. if you don’t believe me , watch HGC games. Often games are swung entirely on the merit or a single good shotcall.

I never said this either. What I said was that most bad games I have with Abathur involve scrubby teammates who refuse to adapt to the fact we have an Abathur on our team and also refuse to listen to shotcalls or comms organizing a strategy, things incredibly important to a team game. It’s a fact that most players don’t play Abathur, much less know how higher skill abathur players function. That is why being able to adapt and listen is important.

I’m not sure what nerve I touched by suggesting you should at least LISTEN to shotcalls and recognize you might need to adapt your play but it definitely sounds like a you problem.

Again, I’m not complaining that people should bow down to me 24/7. in many games with skilled players, I don’t really need to shotcall at all because the people on my team know how to play with Abathur and are willing to adapt. However a lot of people, especially in QM, refuse to adapt AND refuse to listen to shotcalls, leading to a lot of losses and the perception that Abathur on their team= auto lose.

MVP does not mean anything. Usually a player who has 0 death gets it. It can be a very good player, or passive afk.
You know that Abathur has an elevated MVP level compared to the other heroes? That means he needs to do better statistics to get MVP.

I am no expert on abathur, but I really really hate abathurs who act like their murky and go monstrosity build. While it can sometimes work, hat seems a thousand times more effective.
The best abathurs are the ones who constantly save their teammates with hat or who keep it permanently on an Illidan and crush the entire game. The hat-abathurs are extremely frustrating/unbeatable to play against.

Abathur is the most oppressive hero in game. His hat is game changing, err, game ruining. It has speed, shield, heal, and damage possibilities all while he remains safe and out of the fight.
